everything. I could see hotel was new as they were still building in 1 area and I could see boxes in some of the rooms. this was great as hotel was only half full maybe even less. no issue getting pool beds each day. food was delicious in all parts as we tried it all. breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in my life. everything you could want they had even ice cream for breakfast.

Hotel Review for Kanvaz Hotel, Bali After an unfortunate hotel switch due to food poisoning, we found exactly what we needed at Kanvaz Hotel: relaxation and rejuvenation in the heart of the action. Choosing this hotel was one of the best decisions we made! The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire property is truly outstanding. In Bali, we’re already accustomed to the hospitality and politeness of the locals, but here at Kanvaz, the attentiveness was on another level, making our stay even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for helping us recover and continue our vacation. The food is a highlight! The delicious dishes and exquisite pastries offered a taste of France and Italy. Plus, having the option to swim peacefully in the pool late at night was the cherry on top. We also took advantage of the hotel’s spa offerings, which were fantastic and provided a wonderful way to unwind. It’s the little things that make the stay at Kanvaz Hotel so special—like the lovely scents in the public areas and the high-quality toiletries that smell amazing and add a touch of luxury.     We had a great time at the Anvaya. We were a bit too early for the check-in and were impressed that there was an air-conditioned waiting lounge with buffet including coffee, cake, juice, soft drinks... nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful no matter in which area of the resort. We really liked that it was located directly at the beach, every late afternoon we left the pool for a little beach walk and enjoyed the sunset with a beer / coconut. We didn't find the beach to be as bad as stated in some of the other reviews. We liked that there were mostly balinese locals enjoying the sunset and not only tourists like in Seminyak/Canggu for example. There was a nice vibe. The pool area was very nice, very clean. No problem to find free places there, no matter when (at least when we stayed there). I had some cocktails there, which were really good (prices a bit under European price standard, but not very cheap). Breakfast was great, fresh smoothies, yoghurts, egg station, waffle/pancake station, pasta, pizza, sushi,you name it. Gigantic. There was an air conditioned area, we really enjoyed :) We liked our room with garden view, the movable door that separated the bathroom from the bedroom was a funny detail and nice for communication (hard to explain for me in English, just take a look at the picture :)) The free-refill of the minibar was cool. We also received a lot of little goodies almost every day (small cakes/pralines). We enjoyed our stay!

Whether it was arranging transport, customizing meals, or simply checking in on how we were enjoying our stay they made us feel like VIPs.     I was not at all prepared for my arrival at Dreams Bali, It was raining and I did not realize you had to climb down about 200 steps, (well build and safe steps and staff was there to carry my bags) But oh, it was so worth it. It truly is an amazing place to stay. I had a room just about the reception desk, since I was traveling alone that was fine, but it's not the best room if you want privacy. It was the only room available when I found the place on Booking.com and the price was unbelievable for the location. It was a heavenly place, I never shut the curtains and felt I was floating about the sea. Since it was dark when I arrived, I was not sure about when I could roam around but when the rain stopped I ventures out and found the dinning area and bar with beautiful night views and spent a long time sitting on the cement wall taking in the amazing beauty of where I was.

    Busy! Lots of restaurants and bars though, shops and massage, beauty places. Narrow pavements like much of Bali. Beach is lovely and wide, quite hard to swim but good for a dip and great for surf lessons.

    Nice and close to Nuanu, which definitely needs more than a day to see. Beautiful beach club and amazing light art installations. Got to hold a bat at Tanah Lot - but don’t get the Gado Gado from the restaurants there.

    Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Highly recommend going to a sunset dance performance - absolutely amazing!

    Don book this hotel. The staff is horrible. The worst is the f&b manager . The hotel is operating without a GM and no one is bothered about guest experience. Don make a mistake staying here! Don waste money as it is the worst hotel for the rate one pays. No cutleries , staff not bothered, no replenishment , just horrible in summary !

    I love Legian, the beach is magic. The western restaurants and cafes and shocking, food is rubbish, over priced, lazy staff. Filthy smokers never consider non smokers and feel it’s ok to smoke while people eat. They ruin this town

    We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area.

    We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area. It was not for us. The area is dominated by large resorts and the main activities centre around surfing, or hanging out in a pricey resort/bar, or perhaps viewing artifical tourist sights. Admittedly some resorts are very nice and have nice views but it's not really my style of holiday to spend several hundred dollars to lounge on a sunbed on the coast. There are plenty of higher end places to eat in this area, but I didn't go to Indonesia to eat western food. The Indonesian options feel very samey and were better in other areas with more Indonesian diners. Even Ubud with its hordes of people felt more authentically like Bali than this area does. In all, if you want a resort style holiday or are a wealthy surfer then this is the area for you. If you want to mosey around and get a feel for Bali it is not. For other watersports, it would be better to go north e.g. for diving/snorkelling. Or go to another island altogether.

    Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!

    We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellent

    We were in a good location from everything we wanted to do🤔🤔 We ate at many restaurants in the area. I got to watch the AFL and NRL games at Rama Garden bar and Restaurant. The seafood there was very good and freshly cooked.

    I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.
