It truly is an amazing place to stay. I had a room just about the reception desk, since I was traveling alone that was fine, but it's not the best room if you want privacy. It was the only room available when I found the place on Booking.com and the price was unbelievable for the location. It was a heavenly place, I never shut the curtains and felt I was floating about the sea. Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Don book this hotel. The staff is horrible. The worst is the f&b manager . The hotel is operating without a GM and no one is bothered about guest experience. Don make a mistake staying here! Compared to most other tourist areas in Bali Nusa Dua and Benoa is a much quieter and layback location if that is what you are looking for. There are lots of nice restaurants within short walking distance to most hotels. Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas.
