It was in an awesome location, and I loved waking up to a balcony facing a verdant garden. The staff were all so kind and genuine, and the breakfast team always helped me start off a great day over a delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the materials/furniture were all of high quality. I also loved the huge bathtub and the yoga studio space upstairs and the pool and garden were so beautifully designed, I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy this gem of a resort!

The breakfast was great! My friend and I decided to do a floating breakfast for one of the days and everything was delicious. The pictures also came out great. I like the service and care that was provided. Everyone was super friendly and always made sure we were comfortable by asking us questions and greeting us whenever we would leave and return to the hotel.

All the staff were very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and internet worked great since I need it for working remotely. It’s a bit of a walk from the center which is easy going down but going back my partner and I preferred to use grab. I mean the center of ubud is chaotic anyway so this place is perfect if you don’t mind the walk/commute

We stayed for 5 nights at Sapodilla Ubud for our honeymoon. It was a great pleasure to stay there. Sapodilla has a good location , it has a lot of restaurants nearby from different cuisines. Also very close location to monkey forest. For other locations around Ubud they are ready to help you with shuttle service (drop and pick up). They provide a cell phone to you for pick up service. Sapodilla also have a nice pool and rooms are spacious and clean. But best thing was Sapodilla team , they are very friendly and ready to help you with everything. My birthday was during our stay at Sapodilla , even though me or my wife didn’t mention about it they made a surprise to us with birthday cake and some decorations. We felt really happy and surprised. We recommend Sapodilla for Ubud holiday , it has a good location , facilities , services and most importantly a friendly team that is ready to help. If we ever visit Ubud again we wish to stay here again

The hotel is beautiful and in beautiful settings. The staff make sure that you feel at home the moment you step in at reception. We loved the fact the villas are private with private pools and the staff is always available if we need anything and being attentive to our requests. The food at the restaurant is really good from the springrolls to the burger. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and prepared afresh. The free shuttle to Ubud is a big plus. We definitely recommend the hotel.

The list is endless. It was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t travel with children, but I also appreciate all the activities the resort has for the kids. The food was amazing. Absolutely stunning hotel. A little bit away from Ubud centre but there is an hourly shuttle. I had the best ever massage in the spa along with a free 15 min neck and shoulder massage. Staff are wonderful. Breakfast had a good variety and was delicious. Suite rooms are spacious and clean.

Great place to stay for markets and culture.

Great place to stay for markets and culture. Need transport to get around but Taxis are so cheap and Grab taxi app a must. So convenient. Day excursions with personal taxi driver in your own time a must too. Over 4 days saw a lot of the island and also squeezed in a lot in a day but with time to spare. Holiday so worth it. One more off my bucket list.

It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

From the moment I arrived l felt very welcomed by the owners & staff who made me feel like part of the family knowing l was travelling alone. My villa had a private garden & verandah with my own pond with fish & a waterfall. Such a peaceful & beautifully spacious room serviced daily. The organic food & drinks were delicious & the house frozen margarita became a daily treat for me. Prices were so inexpensive so l could indulge. The staff are always smiling & laughing as this boutique resort is a place they love to be also . The views are breathtaking & the peace it brought me filled my heart with such joy. I highly recommend this to any traveller .

The peaceful Ubud of old has gone, and the artistic centre of Bali, is but a memory!! Regrettably, the Seminyak/Canggu crowd have discovered it, and traffic is terrible, with Jalan Monkey Forest a wall of cars and motorbikes in the evenings. The corner of Jalan Monkey Forest and Jalan Rays rivals the Ginza in Tokyo for crowds!! The main roads from the south, and to Tegalalang, are frequently car parks, with no movement for extended periods. The early morning market along Jln Raya, opposite the palace, is worth a visit, but it's all gone by about 0900, so be early. Restaurants are plentiful, generally good, although I haven't eaten at them all, and probably the best area for concenrated restaurants, is Jln Goutama, also known as Eat Street. I go there for nostalgic reasons, having first visited in 1979, but nowadays stay only one night enroute north coast to Kuta via Kintamani. I do recommend Fair Warung Bale, #6 Jln Sri Wedari, a five minute walk from the palace, as a place to eat. The food is good, great staff, and the reason for their being is that all profits go to providing medical services to the poor!! I eat there at least once every visit.
