I had a fantastic experience staying at 101 Style Malioboro during my vacation. From the moment I arrived, the service exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded me to a Royal Suite, which made my stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and style. Everything was spotless, and the amenities provided were top-notch. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the relaxing ambiance of the room. The hotel’s location is excellent – right in the heart of Malioboro, making it easy to explore local attractions, shops, and eateries. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. the building is amazing! The room are nice and big enough. The bed super comfy. Felt like in a temple . And the staff! The best ever! Amazing team and everybody did their best to help me and provide me the best experience ever! Loved it every second! Keep me a room for my retirement! Room was clean daily. Wifi is strong. Bathroom is simple but good and have hot water.

Our most favorite hotel so far. The food is amazing (rich breakfast, delicious dinner). The staff is the most kind and attentive we have ever seen. Definitely worth coming back again. Location is great because you are quickly on the main road and close to main Temples.

My family and I stayed at this villa and enjoyed every moment. The private pool was clean and well-maintained, making it perfect for the kids to play and relax. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, the bed was soft, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the interior design was elegant. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff. They were always helpful, warm, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for a relaxing family or couples' vacation!

We stayed for 3 nights at boutique villa Jogja. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the hospitality. We rather stayed the whole time in the hotel than going to the city. The full board option is worth its price. There are two cafes nearby in the same street if you’re looking for some variety. We also liked the quietness of the location and the direct access from the room to the pool. The Hotel also cooperates with a very good and affordable laundry service without any extra costs.

    there is an outdoor food centre just nearby, the local supermarket and laundromat are about 10 minutes walking. the location is in the middle between Malioboro street and Prambanan so getting around between both were convinience. If you want to go to a bigger and classy mall it was not that far away as well by using Grab which is much cheaper to go to. Prices for food is really affordable as there are restaurants that are student friendly budget that we can enjoy.

    Couldn't say much as it was a village.

    Couldn't say much as it was a village. We didn't explore much outside the resort except eat at the restaurant nightly. The locals are friendly though but that's probably because we spoke Bahasa to them. We tried to cycle around with the free bicycles offered by our resort but it proved too strenuous as the area is hilly! Cycling downhill was fun but I couldn't say the same for cycling uphill.

    I don't know what the government problem with the waste...

    I don't know what the government problem with the waste management, but seriously Yogyakarta is a tourism city, yet the waste management there is so poor that you can see many waste shelters are overload and cause a bad smell when you passing by. Yogyakarta in 2025 has lost their original etnic vibes. I went there in 2019, and I felt the Javanese ethnic vibes much more dominant then. It such a shame actually. Hope the Sultan will correct this issues ASAP.
