- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 192 reviewsIn all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.Guest review byVivianUnited Kingdom
- From US$164.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 915 reviewsThe staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was superb if you're looking for an outdoors vibe. The breakfast was wonderful. We're not luxury resort seekers. This hotel had a family friendly resort vibe which we liked. We don't have small children but loved seeing a playground. It's nice to see children not looking at a screen. The area has much to offer for families to do outdoor activities without spending a fortune. Silver strand beach was excellent with beautiful white sand.Guest review bySCHWARZUnited States
- From US$876.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 548 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay at the Ardagh Hotel. The service was fantastic throughout — warm, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was a highlight: breakfast was included and served à la carte with a lovely selection, and we also had a very nice dinner there. The food was excellent, and the view over the lake made the experience even more special. Our room was spacious, with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. A truly relaxing and memorable stay — we would happily return!Guest review byCarmenGermany
- From US$468.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 13 reviewsThis was one of the best, if not the best hotel experience of the last 5-10 years. Large and extremely cozy rooms, very attentive room service, fantastic breakfast and dinner, great location, and above all the friendliness and warmth of the host Henry. It couldn’t have been better, except the weather maybe.Guest review byAndreasSpain

Baths in the bedrooms were a welcome addition and there were literally loads of plug sockets for phone charging, hair drying etc. The staff were exceptional and made my friend and I (both female) extremely welcome.Guest review bymelIreland

Really good value.
Really good value. Great location for exploring beautiful area. The dorm is really low priced but clean and comfy with room to store possessions. Kitchen rather under-equipped especially in terms of saucepan provision.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Renvyle is a really nice place to stay, with space to take time on-premises, but also in the heart of Connemara from which to explore the beaches, towns and countryside. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provides good food in both the pub and restaurant.Guest review byRayIreland - 10.0

It is a beautiful village on what feels like the edge of the world, surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful nature colours in a perfect setting. Perfect for group, family or solo trips. Great variety of pubs and eating choices in Roundstone village itself. I will be back for another visit and I will recommend to my friends too. Its a long drive over from Dublin but 100% worth itGuest review byAdrienneIreland - 10.0

A lovely small town full of fantastic bars and restaurants - you can't go wrong heading our for a drink or a meal - and great music too.
