- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 122 reviewsThe cottage was exactly what we needed to conclude our 1 month visit to Ireland. Both Connor amd Sean were very attentive and responsive to our needs. They made sure everything was comfortable for us with genuine care. The cottage itself was AMAZING! A true Irish gem. In the Family for over 200 years and updated for the traveler to enjoy. We spent 4 nights there and cooked most meals as town was not far for goods needed. Best accommodation of our entire trip by far!Guest review byDavidUnited States

Next time we go to Buncrana we shall enjoy going on the ferry. We will enjoy looking inside the large household store on the main street and we shall try to time it so that we can enjoy some of the many musical festivalsGuest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The spa was the best.
The spa was the best. Booking treatments before hand is needed but the facial was amazing as were the massages. The food was lovely in the hotel restaurant, we were not disappointed. When wanting to try something new we walked 5min to Nancys Barn for even more gorgeous food. Beach was in walking distance with a lovely view and nice walking path.Guest review byMollyIreland - 8.0

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more livelyGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0
It was difficult to find a taxi.
It was difficult to find a taxi. I was lucky that I found a phone number for a taxi firm called Carn taxis. The Lady driver brought me to Derry. She was a lovely person and gave me a lot of local information. I would recommend that taxi firm.Guest review byTrionaIreland - 10.0

Culdaff is such a lovely small village located on Innishowen Peninsula east coast. Its location and area allows you to view either the rugged countryside or the glorious North Atlantic Ocean with Bunnagee and Dunmore Head in between. Hospitality from the locals is guaranteed to make you welcome and local bars certainly add to the occasions. Highly recommended for a short stayGuest review byGeraldineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

As soon as you come off the ferry the apartment is just seconds round the corner and you can walk right into the habour with noone asking any questions. There's also a museum which we spent quite a time in it. The bar was great they did great Guinness so my husband said.Guest review byAnnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Stunning scenery.
Stunning scenery. Lovely little harbour and beach where you can swim in the crystal clear water. Enjoyed the quietness of the area and the friendliness of the locals. There are two pubs which also serve food and a shop. We ate both times in the Seaview Tavern. Both meals were very good as well as the service. We didn't have time to try Farren's Bar.Guest review byCATHERINEUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Fahan is a tiny village on the Inishowen peninsula.
Fahan is a tiny village on the Inishowen peninsula. We stayed there and used it as a base for the scenic drive. Highly recommend driving the Inishowen 100 and going to Malin Head; It exceeded expectations. We ate dinner in the Railway and it was yummy.Guest review byKristynUnited States - 8.0

Burnfoot seems to be a pass-through point into Inishowen Peninsula, Two main roads come together there but the numbers and names are confusing. It is hard to find exact locations. Even the one restaurant we found did not have WiFi and this made GPS travel difficult. Not much else to say.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Buncrana is on the western side of the inishowen peninsula...
Buncrana is on the western side of the inishowen peninsula on the banks of Lough Swilly. It is a small town that has all the amenities that you’d need for a self catering holiday but is also so near beautiful beaches and interesting sites - the Ring fort, Grianan of Aileach was near enough to visit with the children after tea - amazing 360 degree views and a great place for a careful climb! 5 finger strand was our favourite beautiful beach but really we were spoilt for choice with several with white silk sands within 30 mins of our accommodationGuest review byMagdaleneUnited Kingdom
