- From $202.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,804 reviewsWe travelled in Ireland for 3 weeks, and our stay at the George was the most memorable. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The on-site restaurant, Vincenzo's Grill serves delicious starters. We sampled a July special which included a tasting of almost all items on the starter menu, and they were all delicious. At breakfast, our family of 4 selected 4 different breakfast options, and we all thought our breakfast that morning was the best breakfast we had had in Ireland. Whether you prefer a full Irish, sweet pancakes, eggs Benedict or avocado toast, you will not be disappointed at the George. Every staff member we encountered was kind and thoughtful. It was indeed a very pleasant stay. And for the cherry on top - a few days after our stay, we realised we may have left a bag of shoes at the hotel. I messaged reception and received a very quick response stating the bag had been found. They offered to post it to us, but as we were passing that way en route back to Dublin we were able to go back to collect. The George got 4/4 votes from our family for best hotel in Ireland!Guest review byRenushaLaos
- From $268.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,179 reviewsThe hotel was absolutely spotless with beautiful decor. The bedroom was lovely and spacious, with a fabulous ensuite bathroom. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best I’ve ever had, offering plenty of options and a lovely seating area. All the staff members at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful or obliging. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in a lovely hotel.Guest review byEllenIreland

Staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly, they really went above and beyond. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.Guest review byAndreaIreland
- From $197.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,104 reviewsI traveled to university of Limerick for a conference this summer and stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. As the catering service on campus was highly limited I also ate many times at the restaurant. Staffs at reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. They took very good care of me during my stay.Guest review byYueChina

We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely.
We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely. The food was great. The city centre is compact and easy to get around. The Treaty City Brewery was a high spot as were the Museum of Limerick (really helpful staff) and the People's museum (shared their enthusiasms with us). We enjoyed the street art very much.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Killaloe / Ballina is a beautiful twin town spanning the river Shannon. Great river walks, the old road bridge is now pedestrianised making it easy to go from the Ballina to the Killaloe side and vice versa. There's a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs with indoor and outdoor areas. The Lakeside Hotel Killaloe (on the Ballina side) serves excellent food and drinks. Avoid the Bóruna Gastro Pub for now, it's dirty and the service is poor, could be great with it's rooftop bar but needs a refresh of the property and attitudes. Tuscany Bistro on the Ballina side serves excellent food in with great service Raw Interiors serves great food and coffee on the Killaloe side quirky building and great serviceGuest review bySeanIreland - 10.0

The beds are singles, but comfortable.
The beds are singles, but comfortable. The bathroom has soap & shampoo in the shower. Soft towels changed daily. OBriensbridge is a very quiet village. Only one pub, very local. No music or events on during our week there. No places to eat either. The river is lovely good for an evening stroll. We went to Killaloe for pub food.Guest review byJaniceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely scenic area. The local people are warm and friendly. Lots to see and do, I would recommend Scarriff and the surrounding area. There is a lovely car boot sale in Tuamgreaney on a Sunday beside the church -worth a look.Guest review byDorothyIreland - 6.0

Having to be in the city all wknd it was a little to far out. We had to eat out every day as no cooking facilities which made the holiday even more expensive. No bin But had towels which was a bonus Stating self catering is a little bit of a stretch! yes it has the essentials but I don’t go on away to eat microwave meals. It has a beautiful view and is quiet. No shops around so make sure to buy what you need before you go! Don’t forget your shampoo.Guest review byO'Dea - 10.0

We stayed at Greenhills Hotel on the Ennis Road—great location with a bus stop just down the road that takes you straight into the city centre. Before dinner, we stopped by The White House for a few drinks. The Guinness was excellent, but I’d give the white wine a miss—not the best selection. The pub has a lovely traditional Irish vibe with some modern touches, making it a really pleasant spot. Dinner was at Freddy’s Restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. We wrapped up the evening at The Copper Room, a stylish underground wine bar with an impressive selection of wines, ports, and cheese boards. I’ll definitely be heading back there next time I’m in Limerick! Best part? All of these spots were just a stone’s throw from each other, making it super easy to enjoy a full evening out without needing to travel far.Guest review byHelenIreland - 10.0
