- From $110.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 282 reviewsThe room was cozy and warm, the bed was comfortable, the facilities were impeccably clean and the showers were lovely and hot, The wood burning stove was a delight and it was an added bonus to have a heater and electricity. It was peaceful and tranquil. All of this whilst being dog friendly honestly made it all round, the best stay I've ever had on booking.com. I will be back and might even be looking to check out their wedding packages in the distant future 😂. The price point was the biggest plus for me. I've stayed in similar glamping yurts and huts and they made it harder to justify going back for this reason but not here. Staff were on hand if you needed them but otherwise, you were left to your own devices and this was the best way! I would have booked more nights if it wasn't already booked out however I will be aiming to come back in a month or so for my partner's birthday! Absolutely great place! Well done guys 🙏 Cannot rate it higher!Guest review byNiallUnited Kingdom

Rooms are amazing, beds SO comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food and service were amazing throughout! They couldn't have done more for us! Rooms were huge, really good value too. Bus service from Dublin airport drops you right outside the hotel. Could not have been simpler or more convenient! We had such a wonderful and joyous time!Guest review byAllisonUnited Kingdom

We loved walking around the streets, the shops and pubs.
We loved walking around the streets, the shops and pubs. It reminded us of how quaint England was about 30-40 years ago. There wasn’t any litter, no graffiti. The people were friendly. A lovely place with lots of things to do. We really enjoyed our visit to Kenny & Co cafe opposite the Bounty Bar. The Bounty Bar had a great atmosphere at night.Guest review byBates - 10
The reception by the hosts are second to none.
The reception by the hosts are second to none. The property is very clean and meets all standard. I went there with family on an event trip. I look forward to returning there with my whole family for a longer stay holiday in the near future. The property offers any one with a quite environment and good back garden.Guest review byGodwinUnited Kingdom - 10

Ashbourne was lovely to access Dublin if you don’t want the noise of the city centre. Plenty to do and see. The tour of Croke Park was the highlight for us. The best place to eat was Burgr. Very tasty and very clean.Guest review byFionaUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Beautiful setting and grounds, eager anticipation of a great...
Beautiful setting and grounds, eager anticipation of a great stay was however quickly dissipated at reception where we were told the room we had already paid for was not available. We were downgraded from a 2 roomed lodge, more appropriate for us and our adult daughter, to a family room, more appropriate for a family with young child. Took several visits to reception to establish what seems to be a paltry and arbitrary partial refund, not even any goodwill compensation offered. We were there for a close friend's wedding so did not want the issue to suck any more energy and joy out of us so didn't kick up more of a fuss. Future visitors, please stick to your guns and get the room you paid for. Other than that the event was great, facilities were very good, breakfast and wedding meals were just lovely. Maybe they could have waived our breakfast fee for the room mix up?Guest review bySanjayUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very pleasant stay. Food in restaurants very good. Lots to see and do. Great atmosphere. For the Ladies in the group highly recommend “Edition” staff, quality stuff great. Stayed in the headfort arms for our 12 year anniversary, arrived and was given an upgrade on our room we wore delighted! (we stayed in room 2). The lady at the reception checking us in was lovely very informative and had a laugh with us, I never caught her name unfortunately. We ate in the Vanilla Pod restaurant I'm sure it was called, the food, drinks and service wore lovely. Breakfast was fast and very tasty! Downfall unfortunately for us was our sleep, the windows in the room did let alot of street noise in and possibly heat out as it did get cold even with the rad on full. The pillows in our room wore awful, 4 pillows on the bed 2 of them folded like paper and the other 2 wore like a brick, we didn't get a good nights sleep at all sadly, we also had a coffee machine with plenty of options for tea & coffee but no cups in the room to make any. Due to the lack of sleep I'm not sure I'd come back to stay which is a same as the hotel itself is fabulous.Guest review byReddin - 4.0

Bedroom dated and the main hotel bar only opens Friday and Saturday nights. Food options (other than the main restaurant) very limited and quite pricey. 4star prices but basic 3star facilities. Location beautiful,Guest review byMargoIreland - 8.0

Bettystown has a fabulous beach ideal for nice long walks, there's also some nice coffee shops in the area but there is not much else to do there. There are good bus and rail connections, with shuttle buses to and from the train station in Laytown and the main bus station in Drogheda. A car would also be helpful to explore neighboring areas, and a little further a field.Guest review byJackieIreland - 10

My visit to Trim on August 8–9, 2025, was an absolute delight! This charming heritage town in County Meath is a hidden gem that blends rich history with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight for me was exploring Trim Castle, a stunningly preserved Norman fortress with breathtaking views from the keep—its history and grandeur are truly captivating. Wandering through the town’s quaint streets, I loved the cozy vibe of local cafes and pubs, where friendly locals added to the charm. The River Boyne walkway was perfect for a peaceful stroll, with beautiful scenery and a serene ambiance. Trim’s compact size made it easy to explore, yet there was so much to see, from the ancient ruins of the Yellow Steeple to the vibrant community spirit. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a relaxing getaway, Trim is a must-visit destination. I’d rate this trip a 9/10 and can’t wait to return!Guest review byGoldStar2017Ireland - 6.0
Town was about 15 miles from the property.
Town was about 15 miles from the property. We drove there to eat some dinner. It had a few grocery stores and restaurants. Also there was a Carlitos pizzeria that looked very good but we were unable to order because it was an hour wait for a pizza. We chose the area because it was close to Emerald Park, which was still another 35 minute drive from there.Guest review byJazzykgirlUnited States
