It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. The Beach sharks can be pretty rude and the food is not very good though there are some really good places though there are a lot of Russian people there. Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. It's a peaceful retreat with a serene beachfront location, perfect for anyone looking to get away from noise and the digital world. The home-style food was delicious, and the setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are huge. A key thing to note is that the road to the hotel is very narrow and can be difficult to drive on in the evening. Good locality. Not very close to busy side of Calangute and Baga. Not very far which is secluded. It is apt location as within 10 mins you can be on beach and busy place and can come back in quiet location for peaceful vacation.
