We visited lots of historic places but the traditional Dobhi washing place was very interesting. The Kerala Backwaters were also amazing. The beach area needed regular cleaning but the Chinese fishing nets there and still in use after 500 years was very interesting. It has been converted in to a fortress for the fourtune found there which belongs to the nation. LANGUAGE BARRIERS is another impediment. Nettor back water safari for 1hr is high 3400/- for 4. Need to negotiate further. Mattancherry palace is better with a guide. Katthakali show 600 pp is worth watching with their makeup n dressing. Any side you turn, the views are stunning. You should visit during a perfect weather with some rain and fog. It doesn't cool very much during sunny days. Roads are very nice to drive a car.
