Comfortable rooms, beautiful garden, friendly people. Due to circumstances beyond our control we were stuck in Delhi for a few days, and they were communicative and flexible and let us reschedule our stay. Everything was there, and if not they arranged for them.

One the finest hotels I’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in many across the world). Large well thought rooms and decor and attention to detail in the room is exceptional. On tv, they Even give you Netflix and prime subscription! Haven’t seen that at many places … Excellent courteous staff and great multi cuisine food in the restaurant. Overall an excellent stay.

This is a good hotel with all necessary facilities. I spent only one night there and was not able to evaluate the breakfast, but all other things were ok. The location is bout ten minutes from the central streets (Market etc). When I came, they allowed me to choose one of the two rooms. The first was on the ground floor and had a view on high mountains, but I chose the second, with a balcony and without such a view. I left the hotel very early in the morning - and there were no problems with that (even though the person responsible for that had to wake up). The territory of the hotel is flowery, clean and green and has several chairs where one can have a rest.

The cottage is owned by a formal army soldier. The amenities are what you expect in a remote cottage with no electrical lines. It's the same for every cottage in Lukung. The generators run only from 7pm to 10:30 pm and you should come to Pangong tso for the views and adventure and stay away if you are seeking comfort. Also, you will be dying for oxygen if the generators run all night or if you have heaters in your room. I'd rather stay alive than just be comfortable. In terms of the cottage and host, Thinley is one of the nicest people I have met on my trip. He made Kadha for my cousin when he had a cold and fed us chai at all times of the day. He made food 3 times a day and it was pretty decent imo. The rooms are basic with a comfortable and warm bed but the prices are more than competitive compared to other cottages and it's totally worth it. I would stay in Thinley's cottage next time I come to Pangong and decide to stay in Lukung.

Their professionalism and attentiveness made me feel valued as a guest. The rooms at Hotel Gyalpo Residency are spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The comfortable beds, plush linens, and modern amenities provided a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring the picturesque landscapes of Leh Ladakh. The stunning views from my room's window of the surrounding mountains and valleys were simply awe-inspiring and added an extra touch of magic to my stay. The hotel's on-site restaurant offered a delightful culinary experience. The menu featured a wide range of local and international dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients.     The location of the Guest House was exceptional. Just take a short cut and within 5 minutes of walking you'll reach the Leh main market. Staff was attentive and there was also room service if you needed hot water or any add ons. I used the laundry service which was charged by piece, although a little expensive it came out clean and smelled really good. Without a shadow of doubt I'll definitely stay here again if I were in Leh!

    Have booked 3 rooms, but have given only 2 rooms at the time...

    Have booked 3 rooms, but have given only 2 rooms at the time of check-in, no cellular service to call the booking .com, had to take 2 extra beds and paid, worst service had till now, I would not recommend to stay at good look camp, person at the camp was very rude, no water for washroom, we had to take water from tank to our room in a bucket.

    Nubra valley consists of Hunder, Diskit, and Sumur. Hunder is most visited place with sand dunes and two hump camels. most of the things are in Hunder only. sumur is little far in isolated place. There is not much to see in Nubra valley specially without snow.

    Go very well prepared and it takes atleast 24 to 48 hours to get acclimitized , carry the necessary medicine and check the hotel if they have oxygen cylinders too. Overall a Very beautiful place with honest people and dont miss going to Tibeten Kitchen have dinner.

    The best thing to do in nubra valley to drive along the...

    The best thing to do in nubra valley to drive along the shyok basin on hunder and panamik side. Do the camel rides and the ATV.. and try the zip line. Stay in a good place. However, dikshit gompa, panamik hot springs and turtuk are a waste of time so don't go there or plan for these.

    Excellent place to visit.

    Excellent place to visit. Has varied topography,landscapes and terrain. Infrastructure is just amazing. It has rivers,lakes , mountains and dessert. The pangong lake is just out of this world. Nubra valley is worth a visit and also all the monasteries and the palaces.
