The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. I ate dinner and had breakfast the next morning, both meals were perfect.

If you follow an instruction of owner about location, then there is no problem to find. First you drive to Grimstunga for key (very easy to find on Google map) and that you continues for 7 km to your room. Room is spacious, bright and with terrasse. Kitchen has well equipment. Location is overall good, very close to ring road and close to Detifoss waterfall (east).

The restaurant and the close location to the Myvatn Nature Baths, both must go to places! Nice, spacious space, we fitted in the 3 beds with our 2 boys. Lovely.

Perfect location…finally got to experience the nature baths which were,very close by…excellent breakfast, wish we could have stayed a second night

The front desk staff is very friendly. The breakfast is abundant and delicious, and although the room is simple, it's well-equipped with various amenities. I highly recommend their in-house ice cream shop.

Just one night stay but it was great: the place itself with big common kitchen, the room, the bathrooms, super helpful host, and...the location: nearby volcano, beautiful lake, cave with hot springs(the Game of Thrones) and the phenomental geothermal area...WOW :)
