- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 677 reviewsI've stayed here before and it was wonderful, which is why I returned with my friends. It was a great feeling when the staff at check in and in the breakfast room recognized me and remembered my cappuccino preference.....it's those little things right? One of our rooms had a sea view which was amazing as before. The breakfast was substantial and had a large variety to choose from.....with perfectly made cappuccinos. The hotel i very well located, just a few steps from the beach, although we were there during the recent rain deluge and flooding which plagued Emilia Romagna but it was a short walk to Viale Ceccarini and the historic center of Riccione. Everything was close and accessible. This was a perfect short stay to offer us a relaxing few days after a month of constant walking and traveling.....and I got to visit with my relatives! The rooms were clean and sparkling! The staff at the desk very warm and welcoming, as were the cleaning staff and restaurant staff.Guest review bySenior TravellerUnited States

Loved the architecture of buildings throughout the city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. When the city completes it’s initial light rail project in 2027 getting around will be improved tremendously.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0
I walked around the city a lot. It's nice, organized ,clean.
I walked around the city a lot. It's nice, organized ,clean. I saw how is cleaning in the night. The beaches are very good. Maybe careful with your pockets. A guy selling amulets and some ladies offering pleasures are trying to pik your pockets. It's not really alarming, I tried many kinds of food besides the familiar ones. Good food, good wine. About beer? Good, but I'll stick to Dutch beer. Places where Italian music is played, everyone sings. I live Italian music, I am also Latin by origin. Let's not forget the Contrada, With Spanish music. There are still some places with an American atmosphere. There is another place where people sing and play Serbian music. It's shame that they still play MANELE, which is neither Romanian nor Gypsy music. I don't know where the hell this come from. I go down south, Pescara, Chieti and around, It's still good weather. Ciao !.....................Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Riccione is a very cool town, ideal if you're looking for a vacation where relaxation and fun take center stage. It may not boast the historical past of Rimini (which dates back to Roman times), but it’s packed with high-end shops, great restaurants, cinemas, and more — so you won’t have any trouble finding something interesting to do. This year, the municipality launched an International Festival dedicated to TV series, with a program featuring premieres and interviews with famous screenwriters, directors, and actors. If you're a night owl, you can spend the night in one of the many clubs nestled in the surrounding hills.Guest review byDanieleMOItaly - 10.0

If you want to avoid the touristy cities in Italy, Parma is the place to visit. We travelled by train from Milan, so no need for a car. Easy to walk around, plenty of history and of course the Food is what the city is most famous for.Guest review bySandys - 8.0

Modena is a perfect city to visit for travelers looking to enjoy food as a primary activity, but at a slower pace. It is a very easy city to navigate by foot, but has many farms in the surrounding countryside offering meats, cheeses and most importantly, balsamic vinegar. We came to check the place out and left wishing we were able to stay a couple days more.Guest review bymtantillSpain - 10.0

Cesenatico has got a very nice beach and a nice vibe as well. Distances are all walkable. Despite the many people around, everyone seems to be relaxed and friendly. Beach (Paradiso Beach) is pleasant and safe. Plenty of bars/restaurants/shops/markets as well. It was my second time in Cesenatico and would definitely return.Guest review byDannyBelgium - 10.0
Ravenna is a real gem.
Ravenna is a real gem. Charming, largely car-free streets in the old city with great architecture and inviting squares. So much to see apart from the incredible mosaics. We especially enjoyed the Byron Museum and the Museo del Risorgimento. Alas, didn't have time for the Dante Museum. Also took in some short classical music performances in beautiful venues - i.e. a church and a theatre. The food was also excellent. Downside is the swarms of cruise-ship passengers who crowded the streets on one of the days so good idea to see main attractions early in the morning.Guest review byRaeleneAustralia - 10.0
The castle was impressive and well worth the entrance fee.
The castle was impressive and well worth the entrance fee. We should have remembered the idiosyncratic opening hours of historic sites/churches and would have done more. But we will return- plenty more to see. A charming local told us about the oldest bar in Italy and then returned to mention the location of the grave of Lucretzia Borja.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Bologna is a great city with plenty to see and well located...
Bologna is a great city with plenty to see and well located if wanting to travel to nearer towns for the day. We spent 4 nights in the city and saw eveything we wanted to at a very relaxed pace. 3 full days is about the max you'd want to see most of the city. Would definitely recommend the walk to the Sanctuary of the Madonna but perhaps not on a very hot day! - just take it easy as plenty of steps and uphill walking through the 666 arches (unless you cheat and take the roadtrain) - and take some water, perhaps take the train down is best. Lots of great restaurants - some hidden away down side streets - a bit pricey nearer the centre so do try to track down some better value smaller ones rather than those aiming for Joe Tourist. The Piazza is great - try and get there early before the main crowds. Recommend a walk up the clock tower for super views across the city - easy to buy tickets on the day inside (Early Sept) and was not very busy - also includes access to the museum which is interesting to stroll around. Would expect it to be very overcrowded in peak season - 2nd week of Sept was ok and very few children around so easy to see and do all on our agenda.Guest review byTimmyGUnited Kingdom
