Wonderful stay in Florence. The staff impressed us with their service. A warm thank you to the receptionist Cosmin, who showed and told us everything we should see. We've stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Very comfortable, luxury amenities and extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options provided.     I recently had the pleasure of staying at a surprising design hotel in the heart of Florence. Part of the Ferragamo Lungarno group and just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, this hotel is a true haven for fashionistas. My room was an intimate and cozy snug, with a spacious bathroom. However, it might be a bit tight for two people. I was fortunate to be on the alley side and slept soundly throughout my four-night stay. The white room and relax lounge on the first floor were another one of those hidden treasures. Perfect tranquil havens in hectic Florence for a short break. From check-in to turndown service and departure, the staff made me feel like a VIP. They were the true stars of the hotel – professional, personable, and incredibly friendly. When my wallet was unfortunately pickpocketed, they went above and beyond to offer assistance. While the hotel's rooftop was closed for the winter, the rooftop at its sister hotel across the way was a hidden gem with amazing views. I'm already looking forward to returning soon. As a hotel guest, you'll also receive a 10% discount at the Ferragamo museum shop – a wonderful added perk.

    What's not to like?! everything was perfect! The location is looking out into the hills surrounded by greenary it almost looks like a painting its so surreal. The room was very large and decorated beautifully. While we didn't get to use the pool or spa as we only stayed one night we did peak in and have a look and it was amazing. We did try to stay a second night to take full advantage but understanably they were fully booked. The food is definitely the star of the show though hard to believe when everything else was so good but the meal we had was devine! One of the best meals I have ever had accompanied with one of the best bottles of wine. A special mention also to the staff who were very friendly during our short stay. We willl 100% be back for a longer break to take full advantage of everything.

    Located in a heavenly part of Tuscany. An elegant, charming and beautiful villa that exceeded my expectations. Beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable room. Gorgeous vintage furnishings, an enormous traditional and beautiful bathroom. The restaurant was lovely, overlooking the stunning Tuscan hills. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Thank you to the kind and caring reception and restaurant staff. Food was delicious. A fairytale 'dinner in the vines' was so much fun, amazing food and wine and wonderful entertainment. Thank you La Palagina team, special mention to Mattia. Sad to leave but can't wait to return some day soon 🌻💗

From helpful local tips to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, Laura went above and beyond. The property itself was beautiful and peaceful—perfect for enjoying the Tuscan countryside. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Tuscany!

Offered a bottle of cold water for free cause it was very hot outside. The room was clean and comfy, very convenient for a couple of nights of stay.     Florence is truly wonderful and there are so many places to visit and things to see and do. Everything is within a 20 minute walk of wherever you are. The queues are very long and even with Skip the Queue tickets there are wait periods of over an hour. The Uffizi Gsllery wait was exceptionally long There are wonderful places to eat and to cater to all tastes and budgets, local wild boar dishes and Pastacherias are very yummy I. Wonderful views of the city from Plaza Michelangelo.

    Florence has impressive sites, but even though we arrived in September, the city was very crowded and in some places it was difficult to move comfortably. We waited almost an hour to enter the Duomo and perhaps we could have used the time better.

    Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I wish we were here in the warmer months to make use of that beautiful pool with the to-die-for view!!!

    The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)

    San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!

    Figline is an excellent small Italian town with classic piazza and narrow streets. It has excellent cafes and bars, with a range of cuisines and prices in the local restaurants. Everyone we met were friendly, and it was great to eat and drink in the piazza. Train station gives access to Florence, Arezzo and many other towns, and further afield to Pisa and Rome.

We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.

    This place was incredible.

    This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.

    I've been to Florence before and it is amazing if you love...

    I've been to Florence before and it is amazing if you love history and art as I do. The problem is that everyone knows about it and the streets of the historic center are packed with tourists and getting into sights can mean a long wait and crowded venues. It's worth coming but pack your patience, too.
