The gem, diamond of my whole travel along Slovenia! 10 of 10! Location, inner energy, restaurant - everything is perfect. As out of season I got a free of charge 2-person room instead of 1-person. With a amazing view on the lake. If it is possible - please take a room with a view. Staff very friendly and gentle. I travel a lot , Once again - one of the best impressions ever!

I had the incredible privilege of being the very first guest at Hotel Julian Alps, which officially opens on June 1st. While looking for a place to stat, u stumbled upon this beautiful, brand new hotel. I asked a manager if it would be possible to get a room before the official opening, and he graciously allowed me to stay. the experience was amazing. The hotel still had that fresh, new feel and the staff was welcoming eager to ensure everything went smoothly. My room was impeccably clean, comfortable and well equipped, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. It felt like a luxury stat and i was truly blown away by how well everything was prepared, even before the official opening. The hotel design is stunning, with beautiful interiors and cozy atmosphere. U cant wait for this place to officially open so i can recommend it to others. Im so glad i found it and had a chance to be the first guest.

This old restaurant hotel is run by the same family for 5 generations. Located in a town famous for its strategic importance in WW1. This is a convenient night stop travelling from the north to the Veneto area. No attractions in this small town. Parking was free on the street outside the hotel. We were met at the kerb side by the very friendly proprieter. The room was big though a bit dated. Beds were very comfortable. There was a mini kitchen in the room but no cooking utensils. No matter. The restaurant was 1st class. We had a most enjoyable dinner at very reasonable prices. The next day breakfast at 10Euro each was very good.

    My girlfriend and I spent one unforgettable night at Garden Village Bled and absolutely loved it. The glamping tent was spotless and surprisingly comfortable, and the whole property felt beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made our stay feel effortless from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a pleasant 10-minute walk to Lake Bled—yet it’s quiet and peaceful enough to feel like a nature retreat. Our favorite part was falling asleep under a clear, starry sky and waking up to the sounds of nature right outside the tent. It was a unique, romantic, and relaxing experience that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Garden Village Bled to anyone looking for a cozy, memorable glamping escape near the lake, and we’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

    My 2nd visit was as good as 1st one and I don't usually visit same places 2x if I am not enchanted :o) If you love being in the middle of raw nature with spectacular views and all cosy comfort of great boutique hotel, then this is the place to be for a long weekend / couple of nights so that you can forget about the world outside if you wish, fully unplug and recharge. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful and would always help you with everything you need during your stay.

    This is a pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink and a free room upgrade. Our room was clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. We also requested breakfast with the room, which turned out to be a great idea as the breakfast was really excellent! The hotel itself is close enough to everything, the city centre is a 5 minute walk and most attractions are 15-20 minutes drive away.

    Fantastic view from or balcony, well informed and service minded staff. Great value for the price and perfect place in Bohinj walking distance to evrything. The reception sgested us to hike to the close waterfall and the gorge instead of haiking along the lake and that was an amazing tour and possibility to get a great locale soup and a bear just when you need it. Possibility to charge the care and thats also included in the stay.

    Very good location, close to main highway leading towards Italy, incredible breakfast with lots of options, comfy bed, very good view, a local restaurant close by with clasic Balcan food.     Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful.

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful. We swam in the lake, paddle boarded on the lake, and caught the boat out to the island. The walk around the lake was picturesque, and lots of lovely places to eat and buy souvenirs in the town. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Kranjska Gora is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts such as trail runners like us. We visited to run the UTMB Julian Alps in September so the atmosphere was buzzing. Weather was amazing, we definitely got lucky as a storm rolled in the day we left. A few nice restaurants, pubs and cafes, all of which really good value.

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

    Bovec is a great town for outdoor lovers - river trips and hiking. Some superb restaurants in the area with very reasonable prices for the quality - Bistro 9:45, Restaurant Mangrt. Not too touristy in September

    Our trip was in summer. As a town/area Tarvisio wasn't as quite as nice (in summer) as other places we stayed out in nearby Slovenia, but it was fine. I imagine the location would be perfect for ski-season.

    Kobarid is a very charming place, ideal for an active vacation. However, there aren’t many cycling routes separate from the main road, which can sometimes feel inconvenient or less safe. Compared to other nearby towns, Kobarid is quite small.

    Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

    We used the town as a base for visiting Lake Bled and the surrounding area. It made for a quieter less touristy base than Lake Bled itself. The old town was charming with several nice restaurants / cafes.

    A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey.

    A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey. Loads of swimming spots along the river, and a place to rent kayaks, sups etc at the dam. I recommend travveling along the river, up to Gabrje and further for more beautiful river locations. We stayed just outside of town, which I recommend if you have your own transport. I didn't do anything in the town itself as its great just to relax along the river on a sunny day, or go kayaking on the river.

    I'm a pubic transport guy, so i arrived with bus from Ljubljana – transport is good, there are buses frequently between the two towns. I went there mostly because of hiking, but there are all kinds of other sporting opportunity, especially water sports like SUP or rowing. I also spent some time with sightseeing: went to the island and also the Vintgard Gorge (do not miss it! Seriously, it's spectacular). Bled is a perfect destination for families, and also for hiking or doing other sports. I will definitely return.
