- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 89 reviewsThe hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.Guest review byDeborahItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 181 reviewsFamily friendly, clean, walk down to the sea or enjoy the excellent waterpark , great way to wind down with the kids post sightseeing through Rome, Florence and Tuscany. Under 1 hour drive to Fiumicino. Friendly staff, full of Italian families enjoying a holiday, between pool, sea, beach and big play park kids had a blast. Restaurant and snack bars and store on site. Plenty of little restaurants in town up the street. Cabins are clean and great for a short stay.Guest review byChrisCanada

It's easy to access to the center of Rome by public transport or take the shuttle from the camping. The breakfast is so delicious . Just to let you know that the pool opens from 11h to 17h so this is the only disappointment. I recommend this place +++Guest review byDanyBelgium

Rome is a very easy city to navigate either on foot or by public transport. All the main sights are very accessible and easy to book ahead - highly recommended if you want to avoid long queues. It does get very crowded - particularly at the main tourist sites - but go off the main thoroughfares and there are plenty of quietish places with fascinating architecture and history. Highlights? Inevitably the Colosseum (worth going back in the evening to see it lite up) and Forum/Palatine Hill but Castel Sant' Angelo was also special and rather under-sold in the guide books. The city is clean and free of litter. Allow plenty of time to get to and from the airports by road as the traffic can be bad.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you love the water/fishing then you would love this fishing town. So relaxing to watch the fishing boating come in with the catch of the day. The fresh seafood at restaurants are amazing and the locals were the kindness people even though we did not speak Italian.Guest review byJaneUnited States - 6.0

There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).Guest review byAlanUnited States - 10.0

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.Guest review byMichelle KinchUnited States - 8.0

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!Guest review byAquilaIreland - 10.0

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.Guest review byЖаннаUkraine - 10.0

Beyond gorgeous. It’s a dream vacation spot and easily travelled by electric bike to all the beaches. Mostly Italian tourists which made it seem much more chilled out than other beach spots in Italy. Highly recommendGuest review byKristinaUnited States - 10.0

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.Guest review bySharee F.Australia - 10.0
Lovely place. Everyone very friendly.
Lovely place. Everyone very friendly. Sea great for gentle swimming; beautiful light in walks along lungomare, thanks to east-west orientation. Temple above Terracina a wonderful place to visit and look down from; another temple in Terracina itself, and a small Roman theatre, also full of interest. Many cats, and lots of local kindness to them. Restaurants very accommodating for vegans; ready to adapt and suggest.Guest review byGregoryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ciampino is a lovely typical Italian town, it’s not very touristy but the locals etc still make you very welcome. It is also excellent if your flying to Ciampino airport it’s literally about 9 minutes on the bus (Airport to the town). If you were stuck for transport from the airport to the hotel I’m sure you could walk it in about 20-25 minutes 😁.Guest review byScott&ElaineUnited Kingdom
