Roma is a very bueatiful city full of many historical, religious, cultural, social and natural places. People are very nice and friendly. Cousine delicious. Anyway, you have to prepare yourself carefully before the visit to make the best use of your time. Some disadvantage, which you have to accept, so many visitors and crowded more tourist attraction. Palatyn is a special place where you can find a new very impressive look at Roma.Guest review byAlbinPoland - 6.0

It is a good transit town for flights in and out of Rome for a one or two night stay. There is a nice beach and also a marina. Plenty of restaurants and a good Conad supermarket near the Marina. The streets have lots of refuse and could be better kept. Fine for a short stay but not somewhere I would stay for a holiday per say. Our accommodation provided transport to and from the airport which was a bonus. If your accommodation does not provide this, factor in taxi rides at about 30 Euros each wayGuest review byAnonymous - 6.0

There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).Guest review byAlanUnited States - 10.0

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.Guest review byMichelle KinchUnited States - 8.0

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!Guest review byAquilaIreland - 10.0

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.Guest review byЖаннаUkraine - 10.0

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.Guest review bySharee F.Australia - 10.0

Ciampino is a lovely typical Italian town, it’s not very touristy but the locals etc still make you very welcome. It is also excellent if your flying to Ciampino airport it’s literally about 9 minutes on the bus (Airport to the town). If you were stuck for transport from the airport to the hotel I’m sure you could walk it in about 20-25 minutes 😁.Guest review byScott&ElaineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beyond gorgeous.
Beyond gorgeous. It’s a dream vacation spot and easily travelled by electric bike to all the beaches. Mostly Italian tourists which made it seem much more chilled out than other beach spots in Italy. Highly recommendGuest review byKristinaUnited States - 4.0
Worth a visit.
Worth a visit. I go for work often, its a nice enough place to visit but the public transport offering is wholly inadequate other than the train to Rome. It would be a nice change to visit for a day from Rome with direct train takes 25 mins and costs less than 2 euros. Its in the countryside high up so maybe a bit cooler in summer, a nice park and plenty of greenery, cheaper than Rome and some great food and wine too, but staying in Frascati with a view to visit the surrounding area without a car is going to be impossible. Either you need a car or you limit your stay to Frascati itself. Be careful the last train back to Rome is around 22h30 otherwise its a taxi at 50 euros or more (if you can find one!)Guest review byRichardFrance
