- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 682 reviewsEveything was perfect. Of course they are many more luxurious places in Tuscany but this got a perfect value for price we paid . Our stay was long (2 weeks) and we had luck to get perhaps the best apartment with the best view from the hill. It was called Campo Lungo appartment 309. We loved own breakfast at the terrace view to the valley which looks similar to Polish wild Bieszczady mountains. We loved restaurant food, wine testing, swimming pool. The staff was great and so nice for our family. We also loved evry route by our SUV up to apartment and down during day at at night. It was nice adventure and place is good location to visit many lovely placec in Toskania like Val'd Orcia, Siena , etc.Guest review byVoyager 7Poland
- From US$504.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,039 reviewsThe thermal spa facilities at the Hotel were exceptionally good. They were varied, open all day, very clean and well serviced by staff, both for towels, accessories and safety. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with the exact information we required to get the maximum benefit from the spa waters. The hotel staff were similarly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel drivers who undertook our transfers to and from Florence Airport to the hotel were particularly good: friendly, informative, polite and very safe drivers.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom

Siena is full of wonderful architecture, art and places to enjoy BUT for anyone interested in the early Sienese painting of Duccio et al NB the Pinacoteca Nazionale has closed the entire floor of early paintings for the foreseeable future for upgrading the eco standards etc from August 2025. A major gap!Guest review byAdamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We went to several walled cities on our few days in Tuscany. San G was our absolute favorite. Very clean and the food was amazing. Be prepared to walk a lot up hill, but that's the same with any Tuscany walled city.Guest review byDeborahUnited States - 10.0

Absolutely LOVE Montepulciano; I have spent extended time here and brought a friend for 2 nights which she thought was perfect. Allowed enough time to see the town, enjoy long meals and leisurely walks to see everything and do some shopping while not having to rush - views are spectacular and people are all so nice and most have enough English to adequately communicate if you don't know any Italian. Wine is fantastic everywhere and it's not priced like a tourist town - prefer it to San Gimignano, Cortona, Orvieto, Todi and Assisi if you only have time to do one (they are all worth visiting though!). Train to Chiusi then bus straight into town if you don't want to rent a car - super simple & reliable schedule but there is free parking and plenty of paid lots if you do rent a car. Also centrally located with, easy visits to several smaller towns like Pienza, and Lucignano if you do have a car and want to extend your stay in same property.Guest review by629 - 10.0

Pienza is a fantastic hilltop town with wonderful views over the Val D'Orcia valley. It has wonderful streets, restaurants, and historical sites to explore. My morning coffee and croissant in Piazza Magiore will stay in my memory for a long time. You have to go back there and basta :)Guest review byPawełPoland - 6.0
Beautiful Tuscan town.
Beautiful Tuscan town. But the two main churches are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can believe it... Better stay in Peinza or Montepulciano. But Sant'Antimo Abbey, 10 kms away, is a world wonder.Guest review byChristopheFrance - 8.0
The town is nice.
The town is nice. It is a quiet time of the year, but the merchants we encountered were friendly. The Terme Theia was ok, but the management inflexible when I tried to inform them of a booking error within 24hours of making it they did not reply to my emails, and when I spoke to the they said that once I paid there was no refund or changes. I prefer the Terme sensoriale, but unfortunately they are only open on weekendsGuest review byKathleenItaly - 8.0
The apartement was even nicer than pictures.
The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.Guest review byPatriciaCanada - 10.0
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.Guest review byD. CaronanItaly - 10.0
Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village.
Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village. Lovely wine farms to visit. It is a great location for a 30 minute drive into Siena or San Gimignano and lots of other charming Tuscan villages. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 10.0
Good town close to many attractions we never got to.
Good town close to many attractions we never got to. Wineries and scenery exceptional. Pleasant and friendly people who help non Italian speaking tourists. So many places within a short distance access for walkers cyclists or car drivers. It's isolation makes it more special.Guest review byRosAustralia
