- From US$462.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 277 reviewsThis hotel has a magical location overlooking the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and the islands of Capri and Ischia. We were met by welcoming and gracious staff who took care of everything for us including a welcome beverage. We had noted that we were traveling with a pet and, therefore, the hotel gave us a room with a garden area for our dog to roam in. The view from the garden was spectacular. We stayed four nights and never left the hotel. The food and service were more than first class and the facilities take advantage of their unique location on the Sorrento peninsula. We would like to draw special attention to Salvadore, dining room staff, who made our experiences at lunch and dinner memorable. But, all of the service staff were exceptional in a friendly Italian way that made us feel welcome and at ease. We are already planning our next trip in 2023. The entire stay was far beyond our expectations.Guest review byRichardItaly
- From US$286.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 658 reviewsThis resort is a little bit of heaven on earth! We had a lovely stay, apartment was comfortable and clean, terrace with view of Capri was magical, all the staff were so nice and we had excellent breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Pool area was clean and beautiful with a view of Ischia, Capri, and Vesuvio. We didn’t use the kitchen during our stay, but it was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. A few hundred meters from the resort there is a supermarket, a bar with lunch service, and a couple of restaurants. 10-15 minutes drive to get to beautiful beaches.Guest review byTheréseSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsThis is a lovely resort for a family holiday. Right on a lovely beach, we had a very comfortable apartment. It is in a small secluded area but a 20 minute walk (up steps but manageable) brings you to the lovely town of Vico Equense. There is also a shuttle bus almost every hour up to the train station. From the train it was v easy to get to Pompeii or Sorrento. (Using the local Circumvesuviana train route). It is also handy for trips to Capri or along Amalfi coast. Restaurant on site is spectacular, and there are 2 or 3 other good options next door.Guest review bySusanIreland
- From US$244.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 535 reviewsThe hotel is in a very pleasant location with a beach and a pool. We stayed in the two-bedroom bungalow. The hotel staff is super friendly and organized our boat trip to spend the day on the island of Capri. The boat departs and returns from the pier adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and the drinks and dinner at the restaurant were also great. From there, we could easily explore Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello in our own car.Guest review byRoberto M CostaBrazil

Sorrento is very picturesque and lively.
Sorrento is very picturesque and lively. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars, plus lots of lanes crammed with small shops. The town is ideally placed to get the train to Pompeii and for boat trips to Capri.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We had ashort visit and enjoyed the beautiful views. The nature of the coastline requires a long walk down from the town to access the beach but there are small buses between the beach and the railway station. Information on this would be helpful prior to visiting and there was no signage which would help a tourist as far as we could see. There is atourist info office in the town.Guest review byLaneUnited Kingdom - 2.0
Horrible! Crowded, and the traffic is insane.
Horrible! Crowded, and the traffic is insane. People drive as if they want to die. Reckless motorcycles everywhere. If you come from a place where traffic is organized and respectful, do not go there.Guest review byJuanUnited States - 10.0
Divine.
Divine. The loc was fabulous and will always recommend this location to people. The mountain, the hills, the smell, the city had nice restaurants, and the dinner was delicious and pretty places to take pictures. Train from Sorrento to Naples to Amalfi Coast was astonishing. Will do it again and recommend it.Guest review byAyo AriyibiUnited Kingdom - 6.0

There was not much in piano de sorrento but it was a good base for visiting sorrento and all the attractions , not many restaurants and bars there so hard to find a place to have food, beach was lovely but was down a steep decline and walking there was quite dangerous because I'm of lack of footpaths and drivers are crazy 🤪Guest review byAnneIreland - 10.0
Lovely village.
Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.Guest review bysandraIreland - 8.0
It was fantastic. Great views.
It was fantastic. Great views. Beautiful culture, area, lots to do. Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy. Try Eugenia. - restaurant a bit down from the church.Guest review byJonathonUnited States - 10.0
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends.
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends. We enjoyed every moment in the villa. Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allows to enjoy lovely dinners in the terrace with the sea view. Moreover, pool and lemon tree garden allows you to cool down from the heat. And finally, Pino is such an amazing host! He helped us with everything we need, from finding best restaurants around to having some music in the villa.Guest review byAgneBaLithuania - 8.0

If you only have a few days, you should stay in Amalfi, or Positano or Capri, etc. Sorrento is nice but not as special. If you have many days then stay in Sorrento and do day trips. Sorrento is easier to navigate than say Capri because it's larger, but Capri is beautifulGuest review byJudithUnited States - 10.0
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro.
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.Guest review byDumitrița
