- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 488 reviewsOur short, unplanned escape to Sardinia had only a reservation for the first night at this hotel. Recommended to us by friends, so we knew we would enjoy our stay even before we arrived. As they had a last-minute cancellation, they gave us a room with a view to the sea. I highly recommend choosing a room with a view. The walk to the beach is just a short walk through the gate next to the swimming pool. The beach itself is a lovely place to bask in the sun or stroll through the shallow, clear, crystal-clear waters. Staff always attentive, Dinner with an extensive selection to choose from was just the finishing touch to a great day. And the breakfast is as good as the reviews state, with the added touch of a cappuccino prepared to perfection. A place to come back next year.Guest review byDavidAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 274 reviewsBeautiful place with everything what is needed during holiday. Big swimming pool with a lot space around. Breakfast very delicious with seaview. Our room was clean, quite big with great view from the balcony. Probably the only option to get to there is a car. But it is worth. Three private beaches where you can use sunbeds. Definitely worth to come and spend there holiday.Guest review byJakubPoland

Everything we had hoped for and more!
Everything we had hoped for and more! Beautiful walkable historic village...delicious restaurants...gorgeous little beaches with water that is both crystal clear and turquoise blue at the same time...several easy day hike options... We travelled in late September and, although there were still plenty of tourists around, nothing felt crowded. The weather was still beach worthy and the water was perfect for swimming. Highly recommend La Bottega del Dano for a meal - a tiny restaurant, with only 6 tables, inspired by a passion for simple food done very very well.Guest review byElanaNew Zealand - 10.0

Tuelada is a small but charming town in the hills above several really wonderful beaches. There are a few good restaurants and a great corner cafe for drinks and snacks, a couple of grocery stores, pharmacy, Bakery and beach shop. Great place for exploring the southeast coast.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 8.0

It’s an old mining town (coal). Interesting place to visit due to history on how the town came about. But the town itself is so so…. Iglesias however is nice and younger crowd, plenty of restaurants and more lively. Iglesias is highly recommended to visitGuest review byGenevieveSwitzerland - 8.0

We were unlucky as during our 3-day stay the sea got very rough, the Mistral was blowing, so we only managed to get into the sea one day. I can imagine it must be very different if you can go out on the dinghy tours of the caves etc. I would strongly recommend driving to Nebida and doing the walk along the sea towards the Pan di Zucchero views. The SP83, the road into and out of Buggerru, requires quite strong driving skills and nerves. We preferred the route southward.Guest review byElenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful, peaceful and safe, with stunning beaches, cliffs, walking trails, and a charming little town full of friendly people. We completely fell in love with Portoscuso and are already planning our return next year.Guest review byMichał - 6.0
It is not worth visiting.
It is not worth visiting. We would extend our stay in Carloforte instead. The island is right next door to Carloforte, but a completely different vibe, no infrastructure, no service on any of the beaches, and a little "dead" (in June anyway). There was one great restaurant we ate at on both nights, and that was the only highlight of our stay.Guest review byElenaUnited States - 8.0

Porto Pino was great - beautiful long beaches and pine forests, weather also glorious end September - not too hot/cold. Got very windy early afternoon - time of the year? Possibly went too near the end of the season as half the restaurants were shut and not enough people around to fill them. Did mean that the beaches were beautifully empty though :-)Guest review byNinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
