Beautiful property and spacious room with luxe feeling. Room had a fantastic view and of course the pool area was just fabulous. We travelled with our baby and the touches for him were so cute and appreciated - they even had a baby bath there we could use !! Everything was top notch and we only had room service dinner but it was great, however the restaurant looked incredible for dinner.

The hotel had recently been renovated it was absolutely spotless it was perfectly positioned for our travel needs. Baldomero and his wife the owners was brilliant nothing was too much trouble we ate in the restaurant at night and the food was superb there was a very good selection for breakfast including scrambled eggs the coffee was very good I would highly recommend this hotel also lastly the WiFi was excellent 👍

Perfect, clean, modern hotel with exclusive personnel. You would be helped at every point you need, warm welcome, the hotel looks brand new although its 3 years old. All people working there are very dedicated to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You have an option of welcome drinks and coffee/tea, snacks, water/local beer, in a hotel and will get tips on all Locarno activities.     Best hotel ever!! The lake views, the staff, the spacious room, the balcony, the restaurant (amazing Italian food with unbelievably friendly and professional waiters), the gym (again with lake views), the pool (right on the lake), the direct deck to the lake. There was a problem with the vent (smell from the kitchen vent reached the room). I told the front desk and immediately got another room - with an even better view. Such a combination of friendliness and high-end service. I want to bring all my family and friends to enjoy this hotel, and will definitely be back.

    From the first minute of arriving to the hotel you feel that you are important guest. The staff is friendly and very careful. There is s valet parking. You are here only for relax! We tried some restaurants of the hotel (Marina and Eden Rock): compliments and thanks to the chef’s and staff, they are professional. The breakfast in the hotel is fantastic. Cleaning service received from me high rating too. The room with fantastic view on the lake, with terrace where you can spend romantic evenings with s glass of champagne.

    I think Locarno is going to be one of the new tourist...

    I think Locarno is going to be one of the new tourist hotspots in the next decade. This spot is beautiful. Amazing lakeside retreat on the alps - the views are not comparable to anything I have ever seen. I loved that it was less crowded than most lakeside European cities I have been to - and think this is a great stop if you are in the Como/Milan area. 10/10 recommend for some relaxation, rejuvenation, and a vacation you won't forget.

    A great town with 3 castles to explore a great old town railway station walkable to old town. A town you can walk mostly but there are also buses. A number of restaurants and on a Saturday morning there is the market in the piazza

    Aiolo is probably beautiful in the snow and it has superb trails up behind in the countryside with Swiss cows wearing bells and mountain goats. Lovely old houses and probably once a delightful place. Sadly now dominated by a huge concrete factory and all the noise and dust that entails. Better to stay at the San Gottardo hotel probably, which is actually ON the pass itself, or above the pass.

    Losone is the underrated, non-touristy part of Ascona and Locarno. It is, therefore, where many residents live because it is quiet, with great access to the Maggia river. The best tip is to walk along the river. It is very well connected by bus, so if you want an area that is safe but above all affordable, then this is the area to stay. Ascona is expensive for what is literally a 5 minute bus ride away. From Losone you can equally head to Locarno as well as Ascona, or indeed go into one of the many valleys.

    Stylish and functional room with a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was well-balanced and tasty, with good options for all diets. The whole property was extremely clean and tidy. A perfect blend of comfort and charm; every aspect exceeded expectations.

    You must take a swim in the lake.

    You must take a swim in the lake. Near the parking garage is a swimming platform. The lake is perfect. Don't test the water first, Don't dip a toe. Take a few steps back, run, jump high, Dive in a resurface a human reborn. Months latter I still think about that dive in the water in the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The town is expensive. But If your traveling through. Stop my kid love car spotting from the cafes.

    Not a massive amount to do in Melide itself, but there a few nice little restaurants and a Miniature Model Village for the kiddies. A short bus ride/ train ride from Laguna and accommodation seemed much cheaper. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was borderline fine dining, so food was amazing but a little expensive; presecco, a bottle of medium priced wine and two medium priced secondi meals cane to about €170 plus tip. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade, staying in a wonderful apartment with Hammam and kitchenette; always nice to get an upgrade, so many thanks again 😁

    Lugano is a beautiful place, wonderful lake surrounded by mountains. It's a great place for a relaxing few days, away from the busier parts of Europe. There's plenty to do, including wonderful lake cruises.
