Property is amazing. The buildings are very beautiful, they really take care of every detail. The rooms, the gardens, the facilities… it’s what you see on the movies of Tuscany. It’s also kids and pets friendly, but still a place to rest and admiring the most amazing landscape.

The stay here was a great pleasure. The Queen room made an exceptional experience, providing bathtube inside and a little private pool (for 4 is enough) outside on a beautiful, big terrace. All members of the staff were kind and we felt cared for the whole stay. The breakfast was pleasant and varied in al Vecchio Forno trattoria, which is 5-minute walk away.

The Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities are exceptional both inside and outside the hotel. The grounds and views are lovely. The restaurant food, both at dinner and at breakfast, is excellent. And the location makes it easy to visit the hill towns, like Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano, or even Siena.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of beautiful countryside and very close to multiple towns and landmarks. Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes.
