This place is special from the moment you pull up to the front. Its design is warm, earthy, and cozy; a sharp departure from the cold and empty designs of traditional hotels. It feels very boutique, and the staff reflect that as well; seemingly flexible with my requests (needed some flexibility for late check out due to taxi scheduling), and always knew who I was by sight. The room was not particularly large, BUT it felt cozy and well laid out. Double doors led to a bathroom that had the green and bronze/brown tone that sets the mood for the entire building. Warm, and welcoming. Walls were frequently curved, giving you the feeling of being embraced, and I truly enjoyed the unique atmosphere it created. Windows were large and lots of natural light; my room had a balcony too, which was very welcome. Bed was comfy, mini bar had some soft drinks and water that were included (well done for not nickel and diming), and the breakfast... that was an absolute delight. Seriously, good tasting food, beautiful spread, and better than what I've had at a lot of other internal chains. It's a short 5-10 minute walk from busy restaurant area with lots of cafes, or 15 minutes from the waterfront. My stay was perfect, and I enjoyed being there. It is a perfect spot for those who don't need or want to be on the beach front, who want an eco-friendly hotel experience in a unique and boutique setting, and just need a base to see the surroundings, or a comfortable place to sleep. I used my time here to wander the City of Aqaba, and also make trips out to Wadi Rum.

The place is amazingly beautiful, well appointed and decorated. Many properties say "luxury" but I don't know compared to what, this is a really luxurious experience that makes you feel like a king. In a lot of hotels throughout the Middle East, staff are sometimes not so well trained and even receptionists are limited compared to people in other parts of the world. Here, they were very on point, efficent, kind, great language skills. I had the opportunity to talk with the spa staff, also fantastic. A fantastic experience all over.

From the moment we arrived at the camp in Wadi Rum, we felt more like family than guests. The team welcomed us with such warmth and genuine kindness that it immediately felt like home under the stars. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and cared for — not just as customers, but as people. Their hospitality was exceptional — kind, patient, and incredibly flexible with all our needs and requests. Whether it was helping us plan activities, adjusting our meals, or simply sitting with us to share stories over tea, nothing ever felt like too much to ask. They made everything flow so naturally, and always with a smile. In a place already rich with natural beauty, it’s the people who made this trip truly magical. Thank you for reminding us what true Bedouin generosity and heart feel like. We left with memories we’ll never forget — and friendships we hope will last forever. Highly recommended, from the bottom of my heart. Special thanks goes to Yousef the guy who took us for the stargazing experience we booked, truly magical!

From the moment we arrived at Al Sultana Luxury Camp, Rami...

From the moment we arrived at Al Sultana Luxury Camp, Rami made us feel completely at home. His warm welcome, professionalism, and genuine hospitality stood out immediately. He personally helped us settle into our room, handled our luggage with care, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly impressed us was how effortlessly he managed to arrange a last-minute Wadi Rum tour for us — and when I say last-minute, I’m not exaggerating! Within minutes, the truck and driver were ready, and we were off on an incredible adventure through the desert. Rami also went the extra mile with small gestures that made a big difference — from helping us wrap our scarves perfectly for the desert wind to making sure we always felt comfortable and cared for. Every request was met with a smile and handled right away. Thanks to Rami, our stay at Al Sultana Luxury Camp was smooth, memorable, and full of warmth. I’ve already recommended this camp to my friends, family, and colleagues — it’s an experience you don’t want to miss, especially with someone as dedicated and kind as Rami ensuring your stay is perfect.

It is wonderful city.

It is wonderful city. We loved snorkeling in Berenice beach club. Dimitris coffee. We stayed at Bratus hotel, which was lovely stay. Mama gaia beach club is also something we will remember. My husband did underwater walk in diving center, which he enjoyed. I just could not go, becaue I got anxiety from white helmet they put on your head and they did not refund me. Also in Berenice beach club I paid for glass boat tour with snorkeling and there was not enough people so they cancel the trip and also no refund. But you can snorkel by yourself and it is enough.

Advice for Future Visitors to Wadi Rum

Advice for Future Visitors to Wadi Rum Be cautious and do your homework before your trip. Unfortunately, there are many misleading practices, so here are a few tips to help you avoid unpleasant surprises: Verify the camp location before heading to the visitor center. Some camps are outside the protected area, which may affect fees and access. Review room details carefully, especially if you're expecting a bubble room or other specific accommodation. Pictures can be misleading. Ask for a full breakdown of all charges—including transportation, activities, and upgrades—before confirming your booking. Watch out for hidden fees and vague pricing. Transparency is not always guaranteed, so it's best to clarify everything in advance. Stay informed and alert to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Amazing Family Getaway in Aqaba, Jordan

Amazing Family Getaway in Aqaba, Jordan I recently had the pleasure of spending three days in Aqaba, Jordan with my family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the city and its stunning landscapes. The highlight of our trip was definitely the beach. The water was incredibly clear and calm, perfect for a relaxing swim or enjoying the sun. My kids had an absolute blast. The gentle waves made it ideal for them to play and swim safely. We also had the opportunity to snorkel and see the beautiful underwater life, which was an exciting adventure for the whole family. The weather was absolutely perfect. With warm temperatures but a cool breeze, it was a great escape from the heat. It made our time at the beach even more enjoyable and allowed us to explore the city comfortably without feeling overheated. Beyond the beach, Aqaba has a rich blend of culture, history, and hospitality. We enjoyed delicious local food, and the people there were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more special. All in all, Aqaba provided the ideal mix of relaxation, adventure, and family fun. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway that combines both natural beauty and cultural richness.
