The receptionist really went out of her way to help us with directions for the next day and ensured we had towels and items for use of the onsen. It overlooks the ocean and has a steam room along with warm pools. And completely free! Great facilities. Pristine! The room was bigger than we expected which is a great surprise. It also came with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. It was perfect for a night and I found the room very clean and comfortable. The double bed was also quite cosy. The location was perfect! On the right you can see Sumato castle and the left is the bus terminal which gives you access to both the north and south of Awaji Island. I visited the theme park Nijigen No Morii with Naruto and...
I visited the theme park Nijigen No Morii with Naruto and Dragonquest Island and both was amazing. Ill definitely come Back to the Park. It's a bit tricky to get around with the local (limited) buses as there run only about once every hour so a rental car ist the better option. From Iwaya Port theres a Shuttle bus to Nijigen No Morii and the hello Kitty sites, it's free and stops on a couple of sites along the route. It is sad to see dying city, even small one. Nothing to do there, difficult to find a nice place to eat even food prices are high. Ohama beach is nice, however there are some creatures in the sea which sting you. Overrated place to visit.Guest review byIrinaJapan
