We were super happy with everything regarding our stay. Our room was very well thought-out with beautiful touches and the private onsen was just perfect. The staff were amazing and the setting of the place was very beautiful. Fukuoka, (Hakata) is a lot less crowded than Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto. There is a ferry terminal where you can ride a ferry to Busan, S. Korea if you like. The Shinkansen train station is in the central part of town making transportation very easy and the subway system is not insane to use like Tokyo. Fukuoka City is compact compared to Tokyo so it's really chill and easy to navigate. There are spaces for children like parks, swan boat rides and easy drives to places like Yanagawa for its canals and local craft, Yame for craft, Kurume for fruit picking and Momochi Beach presents an amazing sunset.
