Dinner and breakfast were really good. Staff was polite and helpful. The size of the room was quite good and we had a view of the garden, which were really pretty. Hot springs were of a good size, well maintained and quiet.

The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was really standard but good. It’s a 5 minute walk from the ferry station. It has a bathtub, a sofa and the bed is really comfortable (but the pillows were a bit hard).

The staff is outstanding. They are amicable and helpful. The ryokan is situated slightly further from the Miyajima harbour, but the ryokan offers outstanding pickup service.

Stayed for a honeymoon. Staff went ABOVE and BEYOND; personally handwritten note during dinner, honeymoon gift, amazing service throughout at check-in, kaiseki dinner, japanese breakfast (superior even compared to other part of japan), calling a free shuttle for us to the ferry port. Brilliant location, huge apartment with loads of space, huge kitchen, nice views. Really loved being able to see the Tori at night time and while tide was out.

The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.
