- From US$128 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 816 reviewsAbsolutely beautiful location. Stunning beach. The most amazing staff. And the room was lovely. And the food was incredible. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and the hotel was so amazing. They allowed us to reserve and decorate the cabana, helped us with the cake, and really made her birthday so special. The staff here are incredible. For me, good staff make a resort what it is. They are so helpful, so kind and really considerate when it comes to special requests. I also requested a late check out because our boat was only coming at 12:30, and they were really accommodating. Every single day we were greeted with a smile, my room was cleaned to perfection. The food was great at the breakfast. And the station staff at the breakfasts were friendly and so so lovely. I will definitely be back here again. As far as the resort, the facilities are beautiful. 3 pools, and an entire private beach section where outside guests are not allowed so you were guaranteed a nice lounger spot for the day. Cabanas with a fan. Benches with comfy cushions. Amazing excursions, boat trips ($80) for the entire boat and guide with a tour, ($15) a day bike rental, really great to ride around the island and see the other side. Paddle boards and kayaks free to use for hotel guests. Umbrellas in every room for the days it rains (I thought that was a really nice touch) and towels for the beach or pool. Beautiful robes in the bedrooms, so soft and comfy, and they fit! I'm a big girl and those robes were just incredible. Such good quality. And overall just really good attention to detail. What a beautiful holiday.Guest review byCatherineSouth Africa
- From US$234 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 246 reviewsThe hotel beds are super soft and comfy. Rooms are well maintained and clean. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful as they are able to respond to all my requests promptly. E.g. My mother forgot to bring the key for the luggage padlock and we could not open it at all. I called their Manager, Mr Sean, and he was able to quickly asked his staff to help us cut open the padlock. He even bought us a new padlock without us asking. We are really thankful for their fast response and wonderful service which makes our stay an extremely pleasant one. Not forgetting to mention the hot stone massage offered by the hotel was simply amazing. The therapist who attended to me was skillful and experienced. She is also very attentive by repeatedly asking me if the heat from the hot stone is comfortable for me. The overall experience was relaxing and enjoying which I highly recommend is a must try.Guest review bysiew lengSingapore

It was tidy and the water on the pool was just perfect. The beach is near and the beach was clean and nice. Breakfast was really good and there was a lot of different food. Restaurant had good food. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Our stay was just perfect and I can't understand all the complaintments that people had wrote. Everything was just perfect and we could not wish more from a hotel.Guest review byKaisaFinland

The staff is unbelievable, the place is magical. I’m a frequent traveler. I’ve visitors many Aman hotels, but the overall experience and the staff is even better at Song Saa. They are always there, waiting to serve you and give the best of themselves. Better then Amanpuri! Loved it very much! The jungle villa is a great choice. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced.Guest review bylynnBelgium

The pool area is perfect for relaxing with a couple of drinks and the staff are super friendly and helpful (shout out to Reggie). The location is great, with white sand and calm waters, while being close to the pier for the ferry or grabbing the VIP tour, which was a nice trip to see the islands highlights and swim in bioluminescent plankton.Guest review bySJ & NathanNew Zealand

You can forget about Sihanoukville if you're into fancy colonial French architecture. Such an ugly jumble of buildings I don't think I have ever seen. But - it's the people that count and they seem OK. The indoor market is there if you need something. There's loads of banks and ATMs. I went to the beach and stayed approximately 1 minute since I saw complete lack of infrastructure for sunseekers. I stayed at the Don Bosco Hotel School which has a swimming pool in its large compound. There's a bunch of unfinished construction in the form of building shells but the strand seems completely free of obstruction.Guest review byROBERTUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We visited in the off season/rainy season. it was quiet and some facilities were being refurbed or rebuilt. Apart from the 1-hour per day rain it was great. the beaches are beautiful and there's lots to do. The people are so friendly and helpful.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Koh Rong Sanloem is a lovely peaceful island.
Koh Rong Sanloem is a lovely peaceful island. We stayed at Island Center Point which was wonderful. The water is warm, we swam a few times, plus went kayaking. All very safe. There is a small shop in Saracen bay where you can buy essentials, plus there are a few places offering laundry facilities. You can also go hiking to other beaches or the lighthouse, bring plenty of water with you!Guest review byCarolineSwitzerland - 8.0

The breakfast was wonderful, but, unfortunately, there was only an a la carte service available on the last morning. The scenery was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of rubbish about, and there needs to be an improvement there. The chalets are quite close to each other, but, with a curfew, this need never be a problem. It would be nice to be able to open a window in the bedroom and use a fan rather than sleep with the air conditioning. The resort's swimming pool is quite enclosed, and isn't very inviting when the sun's not out, but there is access to another pool further up the hill, which has splendid views. It's a good place to walk around and get some exercise! Plenty of opportunities to stop off and get some refreshment too!Guest review bySokphinCambodia - 8.0

If you like basic (very basic) peace and quiet, beautiful sunrise and sunset, this is the place for you to relax. Boats do come in regularly a few in the weekday and more at weekends, but they usually go near the restaurant, so not too noisy. Host, Nak, is excellent and will help you with many things eg forward bookings, as remember there is no Wi-Fi. The food is adequate as to be expected on an island.Guest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Most people visit Sihanoukville as a stop of point before visiting the Koh Rohg Islands, it’s a different experience as the city is filled with half built hotels, tower blocks ! Apparently the Chinese investor was putting a lot of money into the place for offices and casinos around online gambling but when the Cambodian government made it illigal in 2019, the building work just stopped - so it’s got like this apocalyptic feel about the place - worth a short stayGuest review bySteven SmithiesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is peace ! no cars no bikes only motors: generatators. Friendly helpful happy crowd, hiking in the Djungle, paddeling in the canoe around the island to coral bay go snorkling there, playing beach ball in the evenings, eating healthy tasty food. The Sihanoukville I remember no longer exists .it's now a resort city catering for Chinese tourists, hardly any English signage anywhere. The cities roads seemed to have improved. But a lot of buildings left on hold now half finished properly due to the Covid slowdown. Seems like Macau in the tropicsGuest review byralphUnited Kingdom
