We had a great time at this place. Great quiet room. Every detail has been thought out. Excellent staff. Delicious buffet breakfasts. The best Wi-Fi without interruptions. They arranged for us to go to the waterfalls and the trip went great. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at The Secret Luang Prabang hotel during our honeymoon, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring we got plenty of rest after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests we had. We were welcomed with a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch for our honeymoon. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered delicious local dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable place to stay during their honeymoon. We would love to return in the future!

this property was excellent. The design of the rooms, breakfast, location and the helpfulness of staff could not have been better. it was in a very attractive setting on a quiet road opposite a temple and very central. breakfast was superb and fresh. The staff were very helpful with good suggestions for activities and places to eat. could not have been better.

One of the highlights is that guests can also enjoy the beautiful Villa Santi Resort, with its large swimming pool and lush tropical gardens—a peaceful escape just a short shuttle ride away. This combination of central convenience and resort relaxation makes the experience truly unique. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready with a smile or helpful recommendation. The staff were amazing, kind, helpful and polite. The food was freshly cooked, of a very high quality and very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is beautiful, built in a colonial style and very well maintained. Although the road outside is relatively busy, once we were in the grounds we could not hear any traffic and the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful. On arrival, we were greeted with chilled washcloths to freshen up alongside a complimentary welcome drink. Every facility of the hotel was explained in great detail and every member of staff we spoke to either spoke excellent English, or immediately found somebody else to assist us. The reservations manager, Mr Phongsavanh, personally supervised our check out and genuinely seemed to care that we had enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the location, not too far from the historic centre, and the fact that a minibus took us to the post office, close to all the historic sites (and postcards only took a week to arrive in Europe). The room was lovely and big and really well equipped. Loved the fact that there was a gorgeous pool just outside the room. It was perfect after a day of tourism and very quiet. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant served lovely food. Staff members were really helpful.

We enjoyed our stay so much, the staff and management are unbelievably helpful. They really do everything they can to make you feel welcome. We were so happy to have chosen this hotel. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful with large grounds and very beautiful rooms and amazing views of the river and mountains. The room is large and the bed is super comfortable and we really liked the breakfast. Pool is great too. Easy shuttle to go into town.

Location. Garden. Quiet room in a quiet street. Very nice area with good restaurants around the corner. Close to everything. Nice and helpful staff. Good cleaning. Good french style breakfast with fresh baugettes, excellent Lao coffee, omelette, yoghurt, fresh fruit. We believe we found the best place in Luang Prabang ;-)

Location was great, and we loved biking around the town on the bikes provided by the hotel. It was also easy to walk from the hotel as well. The food was mostly outstanding, the staff very friendly with excellent English. We loved the architecture and layout of the hotel, and the pool was amazing.

Loved the colonial charm of Luang Prabang and its chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Managed to visit the elephant sanctuary at Mandalao and would recommend as you go to the elephants in their environment and only observe.

We really enjoyed just walking around the old city.

We really enjoyed just walking around the old city. It's small and yet we still ate a different restaurant for every meal, had cocktails at sunset by the river several times, went to beautiful waterfalls, visited the buffalo dairy farm and went to several Wats. Luang Prabang was not part of our original SE Asia tour but we ended up going and so happy we did. Jungala Lounge bar for food/drinks on the Nam Khan River 360 Sunset for an inexpensive bottle of bubbles at sunset Tangor Bistro, had amazing lentil hummus and chicken strips unlike any I've ever had Tamarind is a teaching restaurant with excellent local food Khaiphaen is also a teaching restaurant with amazing food for a great price. Sena Steak House although we didn't have steak is good Manola Cafe had good pizza

Our wallet was stolen on the first day we arrived...

Our wallet was stolen on the first day we arrived luangprabang, we lost some Thai baht worth around usd500 not a big deal as we stopped our cards right away. The thing is if something happens to you, you got robbed/raped got sick or whatever unfortunate thing occur to you, never expect police or authorities to come to help you as there's no one willing to do the work. However, Laotian people are mostly kind so if you plan to go I wish you a lot of luck.
