Staff is extremely nice and welcoming, although food service is sometimes slow. Food menus are okay, but beware the menu is somewhat "healthy" so missing typical hotel comfort food. The room is really large, bed comfy. I had the large outside bathroom with both shower and a bathtub. French press coffee, real milk and water provided. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable.
