Lovely stay in the middle of the jungle with the nicest staff. Every evening, a lovely buffet is prepared with all sorts of curries which are delicious. You can also book a safari with them. We would recommend the full day tour. Highly recommend this place if you visit Wilpattu!

We had a great experience at Koddu. The hospitality and facilities were amazing. It’s a boutique resort so everything is very personalized and the attention is 5 stars. The food was very good and everyone was very attentive. We can’t say anything negative. Hopefully we can come back soon.

Very beautiful, clean, safe and peaceful paradise. Good A/C. Washer and kitchen facilities, very high quality of everything. The cleanest pool I saw on my trip. Staff was so professional and kind, and offered to help us in every way, even to go out and look for things at the store for me I needed before I left for the airport. Pradeep and his wife cooked a huge and delicious dinner for us, based on the food types we requested. Martinez showed us around the little town which was a quiet and friendly place. The beach was quiet too and full of beautiful shells and men fishing. We were greeted with water from a freshly cut coconut. We felt like queens here! Unfortunately we had to leave for the airport at 3am and the staff helped us make this happen easily and gave us a ride. We felt like queens here!

    The staff, starting from the front desk porter to kitchen staff, the wait staff to the room service everyone was exceptional and courteous. Felt like they were all in a mission to make sure the guests are taken care of no matter what. I lost count on how many times per day random and different staff asked if we need anything or how they can make our stay exceptional. Simply unbelievable and unexpected. The food was amazing and full of variety. The kitchen staff went above and beyond and out of their way to make special request food for my expecting wife's cravings. I was in hospitality business once upon a time and even for me this is next level guest satisfaction. Overall 5 star guest experience and the staff truly set the bench mark for great customer service in the hospitality business. Something I haven't experienced even in the United States. Also a shoutout to wait staff Shashikala and the crew at the buffet for the kindness and effort to make our stay better.. Keep up the good work.

    First of all, it was good that the accommodation was very clean. The condition of the room was very good. The view of the hotel was nice and the swimming pool inside the hotel was clean. If you walk a little further from the swimming pool, you will also find the beach. It's not a private beach, but there aren't many people, so you can enjoy it enough. We also took yoga sessions on the beach. It included breakfast, and the food was delicious. When I went scuba diving in the morning, they packed me a lunch box. When I ate at the restaurant, they gave me a Sri Lankan-style breakfast. Most of their food was not salty and delicious, so we only ate at the hotel throughout the trip. Of course, it's hard to find a good restaurant outside.

    Fantastic setup ideal for a kite holiday. The resort offers the perfect setup with nice rooms, friendly staff, community area and pool. The team, and Joanna and Roberto are making all effort to make everyone feel comfortable at all times. The food was exceptional, especially the dinners, we felt as on an Italian culinary trip, and yes most certainly best pizza in Sri Lanka. We met a lot of really nice people during our stay and made new friends. For kite surfers of all levels Roberto and Max are exceptional teachers. We hope to visit again.

    The beach location was wonderful. The tents were really comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool was quiet and sea two steps away. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing with delicious curries and dal, fruit and cakes and eggs etc. The staff arranged our dolphin boat trip and the dolphins swam around underneath us - a magical experience. Great spot for bird watching too. We highly recommend Dolphin Beach Resort - a very special place.

    Kalpitiya is an enchanting destination.

    Kalpitiya is an enchanting destination. It's the only place in Sri Lanka where you can take kitesurfing lessons and safely practice kitesurfing with expert assistance from seasoned local kitesufers. Although it's generally considered an arid landscape, even in August, one of the driest months in Sri Lanka, it was largely green and without sweltering heat. Probably, the strong wind causes the heat to dissipate. There's a long stretch of fairly clean beach to explore. Many hotels to stay in and many restaurants to dine at. If you take the train from the Colombo fort railway station like me, you can get down at Palaviya station and walk about 100 metres to reach the road leading from Palaviya to Kalpitiya and take a bus from there and then get down at either Kurinjipitiya or Kalpitiya depending on where you plan to visit and/or stay in. Apart from Kitesurfing, you can go sightseeing, see dolphins, bask in the sunshine, take boat tours, cycle and more in Kalpitiya.

    The Manager of the hotel and his staff (including 3 dogs and a cat) are above any praise. If you seek for a well organized place to rest without problems do come to Puetz Travels Beach Resort. Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones.     Wilpattu is an absolutely stunning place close to the reserve. That tents have everything that you need that is good shower is good. The barbecue in the evening is really nice and the surroundings stunning. The staff is super helpful and will go out of their way to accommodate you. We booked a Safari through the accommodation and the Driver and spotter were excellent !

    Kalpitiya is a very beautiful destination. A place to stay for a few days. There are many places for you to enjoy and visit. But be careful when you find a place to stop. Be more careful with low-cost places. Dinuda Villas is a very beautiful place. Babzy and the team are doing very well.

    The place is magical Mr Omar has a love for nature and transmits this to his guests. The staff Mrs Lakshi and Mr Ikhmar were very helpful and kind. The food superb and even the wine! The grounds of the property are in the forest. The lagoon is beautiful and birdwatcher ‘s paradise. The best walk at the lotus pond with hundreds different species of birds.

    We planed our trip for three days.

    We planed our trip for three days. There are several places to visit in Kalpitiya. We went to Kalpitiya Dutch fort, also Kalpitiya Dutch church. St. Anne's National Shrine is located nearby. It is known as Thalawila Church too. No matter what religion you follow, St. Anne’s Church in Thalawila is one of the most ancient and wonderful of all Christian shrines in Sri Lanka. Our third day was very exiting because we planned a boat ride to Baththalangunduwa island. Baththalangunduwa is an island off the northwestern coast of Sri Lanka, reachable from Kalpitiya. The boat ride from Kalpitiya is roughly 32 kilometers long and takes approximately 3.5 hours. Camping on this island is becoming increasingly popular among local tourists.
