The breakfast also was very complete and the people attending to it were very polite as well. I think that considering the location the hotel was not that expensive considering also everything in Luxembourg is quite expensive. I wasnt there long, an overnight stop with a morning walk into the town. The petrol prices were pretty reasonable and there was a decent supermaket and mini mall at the bottom of the town. If staying for a short break I would probably get a hotel in Luxembourg City, as although all transport in the country is free its stops at 2300. The castle was interesting and there is commentary if you want to listen about the history . There is a lift for disabled access. The river is very scenic to walk along and sit by it and lots of history commentary along here too . Interesting with the fish sculptures along it. Luxembourg has so much to offer.
Luxembourg has so much to offer. Take advantage of the free transportation. You may have to rent a car to get to more remote locations; like Vianden Castle or Mullerthal. It's a wonderful place.
It's a wonderful place. Luxembourg City itself can be explored in a day or two, so if you're planning a longer stay, be sure to rent a car and explore the rest of this magnificent country. Luxembourg City is beautiful, clean, and safe. It's worth walking around the impressive fortifications, seeing the cathedral, the ducal palace (open in summer), and the beautiful townhouses. If you have more time, you can visit the museums: I especially recommend the Municipal Museum and Fort Thüngen. An unforgettable experience!Guest review byBartlomiejPoland
