At Hotel Senleja I felt immediately at home and very welcome. The modern and comfortable hotel is perfectly located for trips through Gauja National Park, the room was sparkling clean and there was always something special for breakfast among with the regular breakfast ingredients. Surpassed my expectations. I'm not sure why this hotel is rated as a 3-star; the service feels more like a solid 4 stars. Rooms are really clean, and you can tell the plumbing is new. They even provide slippers, tooth sets and several different pillows, which you'd expect from a higher-rated place. The spa is small but comfy, with a hammam and a hot sauna. Breakfast is not mind-blowing, but it's decent. The staff are helpful and polite, the restaurant has a good menu, what more could I want.

Very friendly host. There was a sweet letter and a box of eggs from their chicken to welcome us. House was small but compact and there was everything we needed. Adorable and friendly cat Ringo, kids loved him. Sauna was really nice, with mild heat- my man is a sauna fanatic and he absolutely loved it. Swimming in pond after sauna- perfect! Host was answering really quickly and we felt like home. Only good vibes!

    We were just two people, but we booked a large room for four and it was definitely worth it. The two-room suite is located in a separate building on the second floor, above a tavern that was closed for renovation. This turned out to be a great bonus – no noise, and we had almost the entire building to ourselves since the only things in it were our suite and the closed tavern. The private entrance provided complete seclusion and plenty of space. But the real highlight of this room was the view from the window. The Sigulda hills and the Gauja River were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunset colors, the mist enveloping everything, and then another beautiful sunset from the bay window. Of course, the room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. We will definitely stay here again next time!

    I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—nestled near a serene lake, with vast backyard space overlooking beautiful greenery. The atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing, perfect nature vibes. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. They also shared great tips on local eateries and places to explore, which really enhanced our experience. The interior is beautifully designed with warm wooden accents—cozy, clean, and full of character.

    The house was extremely clean and cozy. We had absolutely everything we needed. Parking was also spacious (with big bush to hide the car behind ;) ). The walkways were cleared of snow and the house preheated before arrival, very much appreciated. Easy access to hiking routes.

    I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

    Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track. Also Bungee Sigulda is a unique place in Europe, where jumps with a bungee are taken from a CABLE CAR.
