Gite Amani Guest House is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Morocco, offering a perfect blend of traditional charm and warm hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine kindness, making me feel right at home. The guest house itself is beautifully decorated, featuring authentic Moroccan architecture with cozy, well-maintained rooms. The attention to detail in the décor—from the colorful tiles to the handcrafted furniture—creates a truly immersive cultural experience. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. One of the highlights of Gite Amani is the incredible hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, offering helpful tips on local attractions and even preparing delicious homemade Moroccan meals. The breakfast, in particular, was a delightful spread of fresh bread, jams, olives, and mint tea—a perfect way to start the day. The location is ideal for travelers looking to explore Morocco’s beauty, whether it’s the nearby markets, historical sites, or scenic landscapes. The peaceful atmosphere of the guest house also makes it a great place to relax after a day of adventures. Overall, Gite Amani Guest House exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming, and comfortable stay in Morocco, I highly recommend this charming guest house. I would definitely return on my next trip!

Beni Mellal is cute enough.

Beni Mellal is cute enough. The town seems chill and gives the right kind of Moroccan vibes. Since we went during Ramadan, eating wasn't much of a highlight: in the daylight hours we were forced to accept McDonald's drive-thru before heading out on a day trip, but that night we had pizza at Davinci Restaurant, which was surprisingly quite good (particularly if you're familiar with pizza in Morocco) and overall well managed. The region is even more spectacular: drive over the mountain range to Bin El Ouidane (1 hour) and continue to Ouzoud Falls (1 hour more) via Azilal (about midway in between). Gorgeous terrain!
