The location is amazing- steps to a huge view of the ocean and beach below. The hotel staff was friendly. The room had a pretty view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the outdoor central pool. The breakfast was incredible. We ate in the sunny courtyard enjoying the fresh preserves on the warm breads.

It is absolutely fabulous location and place. I cant express how much i am recommending to use an opportunity to stay there if you happen to pass by. It is worth making particular planning to stay there whilst travelling around the country. And make sure you reserve at least couple hours of your time to spend around the palace and gardens itself as well as paintings and museum of Claudio Bravo. We are most thankful for two gentlemen ( i am very sorry of having lost their good names...) who have been looking after us during our short stay. Also recommending dinner to be pre booked.

When me and my best friend arrived in the beautiful Tikida Golf Palace in Agadir, we felt immediately the tranquility of the place. The purple and red flowers. The white bougainvillea. And the ducks greeting you every emorning. This place is beyond. And in this beautiful hotel you find a spa that is lead by this petite, stylish and kind woman Khadija. We chose for a manicure and a pedicure on the day of arrival. We were impressed. Then I chose for a hamam treatment and my friend for a relax massage. It was beyond! The products they use smell like the most beautiful flower, and for the massage Samira chose an oil of Argan & Musk. We took four bottles of the oil back home. It was the best we ever smelled! And one evening my friend felt tension in her neck it was Khadija who took care of her. She adviced her to use the warm jacuzzi to make the tension go away. It helped. Do I need to say that Khadija did not charge for this, it was just to take care of her guests as she would do for her family. We will never forget this. And all the people from the hotel, restaurant and housekeeping will be in our heart, just soms names: Mounir, Touafik, Driss, Iman, Fedoua, Ayoub and Jihad thanks for taking care of us. And all the ones I dis not mention: Thank you! For the jokes and the best coffee. We wish you all the very best, Fatima & Sabah.

The city offers a bit of everything for everyone but it's especially suitable for beach lovers. Agadir has its own beach but there are beach resorts nearby that can be accessed by taxi or InDrive for 50MD or less. You can download InDrive which functions like Uber. The app works well but expect broken communications in French. September and October are surfing season so if you're into it you can find adequate surfing spots and shops that rent the surfing gear. There are plenty of ATM's and the area is generally safe. Food is great but i recommend reading the reviews first. WiFi is available almost everywhere but I recommend buying a prepaid SIM card with a data plan from INWI on arrival which gives you extra freedom. You can buy a 20GB data plan for 200MD, or you can go for unlimited which costs 500MD. Avoid the usual night life places: expensive and less safe, especially if you're a foreigner. For anything else, Agadir offers a nice, traditional Moroccan big city with plenty of facilities.

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is...

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate. They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. Looking for some kind of compensation as we are £300 out of pocket because we had to book a hotel as we could not spend 9 days in the middle of nowhere.Totally misled by booking.com's picture of the location of the apartment.

🌊✨ Imsouane — where time slows down and the soul breathes ✨...

🌊✨ Imsouane — where time slows down and the soul breathes ✨🌊 Tucked between rugged cliffs and rolling Atlantic waves, Imsouane is one of those rare places that feels untouched, timeless, and deeply grounding. Whether you're a surfer chasing the longest wave in Africa, a yogi in search of stillness, or a traveler wanting to unplug and reconnect, Imsouane has a quiet magic that gets under your skin. The pace here is beautifully slow — sunrise surf sessions, fresh fish straight from the harbor, golden hour strolls along the cliffs, and starry skies at night. It’s not a party town; it’s a place to exhale. Locals are kind and welcoming, the surf community is humble and open, and everything you need is within a short walk: cafés, beach shacks, viewpoints, and nature. There's an authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. After visiting many many countries, I can honestly say Imsouane is one of those few places I carry in my heart long after leaving. I will definitely be back!!

We loved Taroudant, particularly the people who are so friendly! The wall surrounding the city is most impressive! I was expecting an older city however it all seems quite modern, to my eyes anyway. There are plenty of places to eat, just be aware that it is a predominantly alcohol free area, with only a couple of the more expensive places on the outskirts of the city selling wine etc. Unfortunately the local Berber souk had a big fire on our first day there so it was closed. The artisan souk was fab however you do have a bit of hassle at times but not excessive. It sold everything from leather work to jewellery, clothing, spices, and a lot of antique bits. Bartering is expected and necessary as a lot of prices, which you have to ask, are inflated so do your homework first if you want to buy anything. We took an hours horse and carriage ride around the city which was well worth it. Check the horses carefully first though as some are better cared for than others. Taroudant is more of a stopover place than a holiday destination and could probably be covered in two full days. That said we were there for four days and had a wonderful relaxing time, mostly sitting in the square, sipping fresh mint tea and watching the world go by.

There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. In a rental car its super easy to get around.
