Everything was amazing, the staff are really friendly and make you feel like you are in your home, professional, smiling, and cooperative. The location is perfect though to every place in the town and reachable, being between local houses makes me feel that I am going to my home at night every day and gave us a lovely experience. The cleanliness was amazing and also the breakfast was delicious and varied a lot. I will definitely come back with my family in the summer and I will recommend Hotel Idila to my friends. It was worth every penny that I paid.

The property was a great location from the beach and local markets around the surrounding area. The rooms were sanitized, clean with the rite amount of space for 2 guests! The outdoor patio was also a plus for the rooms. Breakfast was included every morning from 8am - 10am. All around great experience I would highly recommend staying here. Igore the manager on duty has unmatched hospitality! He made sure he did his best and made us feel very comfortable. He also gave us a detailed explanation of all amenities in the room as wells as explaining what he was for breakfast. He met all of our expectations of what a quality manager is. Igore thank you for making our stay very memorable! We will not forget about it! Highly recommend!

    Hotel Aleksandar's location is excellent. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. Wifi worked well for me. Easy to get to the beach from hotel but it is a public beach so you do have to pay for the chairs. Breakfast was satisfying. A lot of options. Nice restaurants in the area. There are clubs outside the hotel so it does get noisy but honestly didn't bother me at all. Hotel has so much potential but owners don't do much to spruce it up. A nice paint job would go a long way. Our stay was comfortable. It wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem.

    Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town,has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).

    Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.

    From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

    The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

    The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

    Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

    Water is good, but there are some issues with the place. Homeless dogs and cats, garbage and stinky smells when you are going to the beach. Crazy drivers who don’t look for the speed limit and some strange people around.

    if you need a taxi it is important to do this via palma taxi or front desk help rather than take a taxi stationed in front the hotel for example from the hotel to magrit beach the price was 3 euro by palma taxi and 15 euro from the taxi station in front the hotel

    We liked our little hotel, the clean watter, little promenade next to hotel, with plenty of restaurants, cocktails bars, icecream places. We stayed mostly on beach. Was just what we needed. For recharging battery’s.

    Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with you
