Nice Old Town. Nice citadelle.
Nice Old Town. Nice citadelle. I can recommend the sea trip to Dubrovnik with mv Antonija - every Sunday and Friday. It is better to rent something in Becici or Rafailovici and visit Budva for 1 or 2 days.Guest review byAnnaPoland - 10.0

We only planned a 2-day trip to Kotor and we were very impressed with the area in general and mainly the Old Town where we based ourselves. One the 2 days we were able to travel up the Cable Car to enjoy a fantastic sunset and spend quality time exploring the Old Town before taking a speed boat trip to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks. Absolutely spoiled for choice if you enjoy your food as too many cafes/restaurants catering for all and some very large pizza's/pizza slices if you are in a rush or on a tight budget.Guest review byRob PriddyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Ulcinj beach area is for the most part quite dirty and littered. There are people prepared to scam you readily. We did like the fortress area and found a cleaner beach near there (Liman Beach) that we quite liked.Guest review byTorontoMom50Canada - 10.0

The best and most convenient city in the bay, with many beautiful and interesting places, beaches both in the city itself and excellent locations less than an hour's drive away. Not as crowded as Kotor and offering the full range of amenities of a large city.Guest review byGrišin G.K.Serbia - 10.0

I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).Guest review byKatrinEstonia - 4.0

I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!Guest review byÅseUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.Guest review byBillUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I’ve been to Sutomore more than once… and I think I’m officially in love with this place! 💙 The beach is amazing, the sea feels like warm soup, the sun seems to shine just for us, and the vibe? 100% stress-free zone! 😎 If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge and forget all your worries – Sutomore is the one. Highly recommended – and yes, my suitcase is already half-packed for the next visit! 😄✈️🌊Guest review byJustynaPoland - 10.0

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.Guest review byAssemKazakhstan - 10.0
The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday.
The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.Guest review byHopkins
