It took my two days to explore Port Louis. I enjoyed very much the look from the top of the mountain in Port Louis and the waterfront even though the prices at the waterfront are high. We had a wonderful stay! The bedrooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The swimming pool was well-maintained and a big hit with the kids — they absolutely loved it. The kitchen had the essentials, with pots and basic cookware, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. The location was excellent, being close to the malls for shopping and dining convenience. A thoughtful touch was the baby cot, which made our stay much easier and more comfortable with a little one. Most importantly, the owner was very friendly and easy to contact, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We hired a taxi to take us up to the Citadel and around the city. It has some interesting colonial buildings. We arrived at Port Louis at the end of our cruise - the apartment was not far from the port. I had the pleasure of staying at the Champs De Mars Apartment during my recent short visit to Mauritius, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming and cozy atmosphere that this apartment offers. First and foremost, the location is fantastic. Situated right next to the iconic Champs De Mars Racecourse, the apartment offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's also conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore all that Mauritius has to offer. Moreover, the apartment's security was excellent. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is tasteful and modern, providing a welcoming and homely ambiance. The spacious living area is perfect for relaxation and entertaining, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals if you wish. One of the highlights of the Champs De Mars Apartment is the balcony, which overlooks the racecourse. The breathtaking views of the races and the lush greenery are truly a unique experience that adds a special touch to your stay.
