Isla Retreat is a wonderful boutique hotel situated on an amazingly beautiful local Island. The staff is very friendly rooms get cleaned twice a day, everything is an architectural and design marvel. The hotel has a private beach and also there are many other beaches on the island worth visiting. The water sports are also very nice and accessible. We had an incredible vacation at Thundi Village. Nazyh and the staff are amazing, caring , and kind people and they go out of their way to make sure their guests have an amazing experience. they meet you at the airport and also arrange amazing excursions. They were very accommodating and allowed us a late check out when our flight was delayed. And the most beautiful house reef and snorkeling is right outside the door of the guest house. The dining area is beautiful and opens out the crystal clear sea. There are comfortable swings right outside the door and we even saw dolphins . The locals on the island are very friendly and happy and the whole vibe is serene and peaceful. We hope we get to go back. We loved it !

It is our 2nd time in Maldives and we stayed in Azoush for 3 days. The guest house is located in Fulhadoo, Baa Atol, which is a sanctuary for a lot of marine life. It is 2 hrs by speedboat from Male - away from the touristy local islands. They have a beautiful resident reef and an area where you can see manta rays, sea turtles, colorful fishes and white sandbars. The local island is very peaceful, pristine and doesn't have much of a nightlife if you want your own private retreat. The highlight of our trip was actually our experience with Azoush guesthouse. Saman and his staff went above and beyond to provide us a memorable travel experience. They encouraged us to go on day trips and provided us reasonable prices as they have their own boat for excursions. The fishing trip and swimming with the manta rays that they have suggested will always be one of our core travel memories now in Maldives. They have a very generous breakfast plates, provided us with the complimentary fishing trip meal, coconut drinks and coffee when they feel that we need it after a long tiring day. They took us to the local beach with their golf cart and made us a short phone video on the fishing excursion that we had. The guest house is still currently 3 stars and there is an ongoing construction to make it a 5 star hotel. The room is spacious, a typical local Maldivian guest house and is very comfortable. The mosque next to it might be loud in the first early mornings but will be a music to your ears, later on, signaling the start of a new day. They have a stable wifi connection but on and off tv cable connection. You are on a trip on this beautiful island to disconnect and experience a new culture, right? This is truly an example of a 5-star service and experience without overspending. Everything is done perfectly and exceeded our expectations from communication with the hotel, during our stay and leaving that beautiful island.

We just spent five days at the Milaidhoo Resort and had a wonderful time. We had been in Milaidhoo already in 2018 and it was just as perfect as the first time. To us it felt like an unparalleled escape into luxury and tranquility. From the breathtaking ocean views to the impeccable service, every detail is meticulously crafted to create an unforgettable experience. We stayed in a water villa, which was spacious and had a wonderful and sophisticated decoration. We loved the water villa, as we come to the Maledives because of the water. The villa had beautiful sunset views! We found the restaurants are world-class (and we do not know of any hotel in the world that would have such a fantastic breakfast buffet!). A big thank you to Nazeer, Alfie and the entire restaurant team. We deeply enjoyed relaxing on the pristine beaches and swimming in the turquoise waters between the sandbanks. We did many snorkeling trips a few scuba diving trips and saw sharks, turtles, rays and a lot of other wonderful marine life. Zaeem, our diving guide, was an excellent instructor and made our dives truly memorable. Milhaidoo Resort surpassed all our expectations! It’s truly a slice of paradise. The Manager and his team are so gentle and kind, helpful and friendly. You feel truthfully welcome here in this paradise! We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this resort. It could not be any better. A special thanks to Akoo, who was always there to fulfill any of our strange wishes (such as finding sugarfree chewing gum somewhere in the Maldives and getting it to Milhaidoo…). Thank you so much to all of the „Milhaidoos“ for making our holiday unforgettable!

I've been to over 50 countries and have stayed in amazing places but I can't think of anything that surpasses the experience of a vacation at Royal Island Resort. It was truly magical, a paradise. I had high hopes but it exceeded all of my expectations. The island itself is perfect, with beautiful beaches, warm water, interesting wildlife, and beautiful trees and flowers. The cabins are comfortable and I loved the outdoor (yet private) showers. There are plenty of activities to choose from but I was totally happy just being in the water and hanging out on the beach. The all-inclusive buffet restaurant provided a variety of delicious food that I never got tired of. And I had the best massage of my life at the spa. All that said, perhaps the thing that I'll remember the most are the people. The service cannot be better -- everyone was so welcoming, so kind, so friendly. This is truly a 5-star resort in all aspects and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have visited. I'll return as soon as I can.

I want to thank all the staff of Vakkaru Maldives for the warm welcome to me and my family. we spent an unforgettable time on your island. the food was of good quality and tasty, especially the desserts that were served in different restaurants, they were so gorgeous and delicious. the whole area of the island was clean and beautiful. I still love the villa where we lived. I want to thank our sommelier Shubham for a good experience of wine tasting. He told a lot of information about wine, which was so interesting and relevant to every glass of wine drunk. And thanks to Dmitry, our butler, a wonderful person and a golden worker, he made our vacation so that we really didn’t think about anything and enjoyed our stay on your beautiful island.

We received a room upgrade on arrival that was much appreciated and enjoyed. The staff was warm and focused on making our stay as pleasant as possible. Illy coffee (nice touch)! Our dinner down at the beach shack was exceptional (seafood platter) and topped with a cake in celebration of my wife's birthday. Helping the marine biologist with the coral propagation project...there were dozens of other small details that made this an unforgettable stay!

The resort staff were well trained and paid attention to every single detail to make sure your stay becomes unforgettable. The resort boasts stunning natural features and exudes a barefoot vibe throughout. The coral reef is in exceptionally good condition, with a fascinating array of wildlife! The bars and restaurants are excellent as well, though the main restaurant is dominated by Indian flavors. An excellent choice for a quiet and peaceful retreat.

I absolutely would return!

I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!

Transfer disaster, we waited 3 hours instead of 1 hour after a very long journey. The beach is protected by sandbags, pieces of which can be found everywhere in the sea and on the beach. Waste water is released into the ocean, the reef is completely destroyed. Garbage is burned on the island, so it's smoky and stinky.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.
