The water villa with pool is very spacious and comfortable , we much enjoyed the floating breakfast in the pool .

LuxembourgWe travel several times a year to different destinations, this is the first time I rate a 10 in Booking. The hotel was really above expectations. The food was very diversified and extremely good quality, plenty of variety, staff was amazing (the grill chef Eslam is extremely professional and very good). The ambassadors are also very nice and happy to help at any time with any request. The villa we stayed was amazing, with private pool, mini bar all inclusive, directly into the beach which was amazing. The staff cleans the rooms twice a day (which is very nice, but can happen that they appear at inconvenient moments) , keeping all the sand away from our room ! Manooj was the responsible guy for cleaning our room and he was very very good (10 out of 10!!). Thank you very much the amazing week!

AustriaWonderful resort, we loved our waterfront villas, much better than the sunset villa of our kids. Younos, the chef-cook was great-thanks for everything! Sham our personal guide was perfect. And the cleaning staff( Fahroud) did the best! The beds are very comfortable! We would definitely book a villa with pool again, as having a pool with kids is a great experience. The manta-excursion was very nice, even we didn’t see a whaleshark. Ice cream for free, free water in the rooms and the restaurant.

United KingdomExcellent value for money. If you want to get away from the world, have your own private beach and few or no other tourists this is the place to be. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.
This is not a resort but a true Maldivian experience.

I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Overall It was amazing experience with wonderful view at the Aqua villa, the staff was nice and very friendly. Time of travel was too long and exhausting, as it took me almost 17 hrs to reach the Island as I had to take a domestic flight which adds more time to my original long flight. The food was Ok buy not great, there was not a lot of variation and the menu had many repeated food. I dont recommend. Fisrt time in Riu and the last one. Food and drinks really really poor. always the same. very annoying. You are treated like a $. Beds very bad very used mattress. I asked to change but they dont change. a really bad smell in the shower. Was a really bad experience in this hotel. Everything was good apart from the grilled seafood section was the same for 10 days, I only eat grilled food as am diabetic. However it happened that the i chatted with head chef Janaka and he offered me to make different grilled fish but we were leaving on this day when we chatted. Just to mention I rated kandima 10, but all what am saying here is just for improvements only, the gym looked very old and dull with the blue color, the mats were very dirty we decided to stretch in the room instead. We loved the staff saying good bye when we were leaving by boat my wife cried lol she cries all the time 😂 thanks again to everyone especially Luka, Amr, and Tohbi.Guest review byAnonymous
