Addu, the southernmost atoll of Maldives and the only one across the equator is a special place to visit. And it’s made doubly special by 3S and its awesome staff. Mr. Atheef, the ever pleasant and helpful manager and his staff will do everything possible in their capacity to make your visit special. 3S overlooked a small strip of beach which has now been extended which makes those special night strolls under starry skies memorable. The rooms are impeccable and the in house dining caters to every taste. Where the beach ends, the snorkeling begins and we saw some very awesome sea life including manta rays and turtle not to mention the colorful reef fish. And where the snorkeling ends, the private island of Hajara, walkable to, across the reef during low tide, will make the holiday an affair to remember. Mr. Atheef and team setup an umbrella with tables and chairs and brought in food and drinks for our own Maldivian picnic on that island. Snorkels, Bikes and canoes were supplied as and when needed. He also organized a trip to Addu park and Koattey beach, a must visit site on the north of the atoll. By the way this is the only island where a long 15 km road connects the various islands of the atoll. But he took it one more level up by organizing a special trip to the southernmost end of the island which needs special permission and escort vehicles to get to that place. Literally called Southernmost point, it’s the last point at the southern end of Maldives. A truly magical place. Finally he rounded it off with a dolphin watching trip on one of the Dhonis. A must do adventure and more fun if the sea is choppy. Overall the stay at 3S and the experience was one of the best trips I’ve taken ever.

We choose this resort due to the great house reef, which exceeded our expectations with its awesome marine life (turtles, sharks etc.).This place had everything we wanted of our holiday: air-conditioned rooms close to the beach, good breakfast, good cleaning, great swimming pool (though the reef.was more important to us), good gym and a professional diving center. This was our 2. holiday in Maldives, and this time we expecially enjoyed to be on a local island and learn to know the local people and culture. (First holiday was on a hotel resort island). Meedhoo Island is very clean, with a friendly community. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Additionally, there are two beautiful resorts located right next to Meedhoo in the same lagoon, which I visit whenever I feel like it. The entrance fee is just a few dollars, making it very accessible. I recommend staying in Meedhoo for a budget-friendly experience while also enjoying the luxury of Maldives resorts.

Great location, very beautiful beach, very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Check-in/out was smoothly, everything arranged, even assistance with domestic transport. I really recommend this hotel.
