My family and I enjoyed the sites: El Faro, the beaches, Observatorio 1873, the cathedral downtown, Plaza Macheo and walking on the Malecon and beaches. We really enjoyed the Pulmonia Tour, our guide was a native of Mazatlan and provided history within his tour. Juan Jose Hernandez +526691649770. He came last minute on a Sunday morning. We loved the restaurants- Rico's, Panchos, El Presidio Cocina de Mexico, Totem, the coffee shops near the B&B. The sites, the views, the playas, we loved it all!Guest review byAmyUnited States - 8.0

It’s a good mid point to stay if your traveling from San Carlos ( Guaymas) to Mazatlan . It’s safe , we parked our 26 ft RV in the parking lot without a problem . They have a Security guard on duty all night monitoring the lot .Guest review bySimonSpain - 6.0

This hotel may have been really nice in the past but nowadays it is in need of a full refurbishment and as the restaurant hours were 7am-3pm, there were no other facilities nearby , it was rubbish. The view we had of Culiacan in this area is commercial with very very busy road traffic absolutely terribleGuest review bychristineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
A very busy city, lots of traffic noise on the Malecon.
A very busy city, lots of traffic noise on the Malecon. After staying 10 days in Cerrito and 10 days on the Malecon, I would not choose either again.Traffic noise is loud on the Malecon, too loud for converastion oon decks or pool deck. The Cerrito area is quiet, great beaches but a little to far out for walking to a variety of restaurants. Either end of the Malecon or Central or old town will be my next stay.Guest review byDonUnited States - 10.0
Loved Mazatlan, great bus service and great restaurants.
Loved Mazatlan, great bus service and great restaurants. Very clean downtown and long beaches to take long walks. Lots of birds to enjoy, and lots of little shops. Very enjoyable place. No safety concerns, just be aware and do not flaunt wealth. We stayed in 3 areas, Cerritos (not alot of restaurants, very quiet), golden zone closer to downtown (alot of construction, but can bus or walk everywhere) Downtown, old town, (lots of great restaurants and cafes but still within walking distance to beach). Each has their merrit.Guest review byericCanada
