I had a fantastic stay, the hotel beautiful and staff phenomenal friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in had a lovely terrace with seating and the room was beautiful. There was a good coffee machine, and you good make tea. The bed was so good, I almost overslept and missed breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel and was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and plenty of local items like lovely assortment of brad bread, great yogurt, fruit , cheeses and cold cuts, juice coffee, tea, etc. I definitely come back to explore other shops and restaurants.

    Kasteel Engelenburg is situated on a gorgeous property. The building has been lovingly maintained and is just beautiful. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. I enjoyed all my meals here (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) - everything is elegantly presented and delicious. I wasn't at Engelenburg to play golf, but I could still admire the grounds with a walk around the property. Furthermore, there are bikes for guests (regular bikes are free, e-bikes can be rented for a small fee) and immediate access to bike paths to explore the region. I can't recommend them highly enough!

    THIS IS A REAL PLANE.We could have imagined that this B&B would be unique. But we didn't expect it to have the same level of facilities and comfort as a luxury hotel room.They even have a sauna on board.The host couple were very welcoming.     The property is very near the lake, so if you’re into fishing, Keet is your man - he has a wealth of knowledge about fishing in the area and is willing to freely share it with you. You are also within and easy bicycle ride to town so shopping is nearby. Ingrid has some lovely homemade jams for sale too - good on warm toast!!

    chose the accommodation for the purpose of sightseeing in Amsterdam and the surrounding area, the distance to the center is about 45 minutes by car - considering the price, it was completely satisfactory. The rooms were spacious, clean and as it was on offer, it really was.. I warmly recommend it..

    I had visited Arnhem over 40 years ago and remember our guide bringing us to the famous John Frost Bridge. It's a beautiful city with lots of bars and restaurants. I particularly liked Sonsbeek Park with the White Villa. I also got the train to Den Haag and visited the Mauritshuis Museum to see Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring.

    For me it was worth visitting Nijmegen because I was going to meet with friends there. However, I was impressed by the Vierdaagsefeest. It ended up being very fun and the city is quite nice and cozy. So yeah, I had an amazing time in Nijmegen, but maybe if you don't have acquaintances there it's not a must-visit city.
