The location is unbeatable, within walking distance of Oslo’s most beautiful attractions, including the Aker Brygge district, the Nobel Prize Center, the National Museum, Frogner Park, and Vigeland Sculpture Park. They made a coffee machine available all day, and we also appreciated the traditional fika — a lovely touch. One day they served waffles, and on another, a chocolate cake so perfect I found myself eating four slices every afternoon — and I don't even usually like chocolate cake! The water in the bathtub was at a perfect temperature, and the bedroom had a lovely view. The location was excellent — just a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. We didn’t walk this route to the center, but the bus followed a straight line, and the view of the local shops along the way made it seem like the walk would have been enjoyable and worthwhile. Nonetheless, the housekeeping done a good job. Luggage storage facility, spacious. But please take note that like majority of the hotels, it does not have a security camera inside the room. Not sure why the room was not properly locked during my check-in day. Oslo itself is lovely. It's very clean, with excellent facilities but be aware that it is very expensive. I've been there before, so I only went there again because I was going to stay with a friend. Unfortunately she got COVID, so I had to book a hotel at the last minute. A city that is not too big (it's walkable to most attractions, if you like walking), but has a lot packed into it. If you like culture then the Munch and National museums are both excellent and you may find yourself spending longer in them than anticipated. Being Scandinavia, it's generally clean with little litter. Yes, it's more expensive than back home in the UK, but not eye-wateringly so.
