Great hotel! I stayed here three times on my trips in/out of Kathmandu, it’s a really excellent place! Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, allow very easy early- and late-check-in based on odd arrival times, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast included, really nice rooftop to watch the sunset or read a book! Minutes walking from every in Thamel, very convenient location. Highly recommend!

Everything. The staff was the best, very polite and attentive, they helped us with some difficulties to the point of upgrading our stay to help us with a child's slight discomfort. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the service top, and the meals at the restaurant very competitive and with a good variety of choices. My stay at Karma was such a great experience! As soon as I booked they contacted me so they could pick me up at the airport, which was more than helpful since I got in quite late. The hotel has a perfect locations with tons of restaurants and cafes around, and excelente connectivity with all of the city’s most important landmarks. The room was clean and confortable, and the staff was just lovely. They even exchanged my money at a very good rate. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much Karma team.

    On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.

    Phewa Lake and its surroundings feels authentic full of different city's flavors Weather is tricky during rainy season Definitely needs to stay there at least for three days to see major Buddhist landmarks I ate on the local streets - both restaurant and street food Expensive plane from KTM or 6-9 hour bus from Kathmandu

    We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park.     You have to say No!

    You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.

    Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions.

    Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. Nepal Government must improve the infrastructure and to have reliable airlines with good safety records to attract more tourists to help its economy as well.

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.
