- From US$89.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 620 reviewsDyan the owner is a wonderful Host, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Enjoyed chatting with her and her wonderful sense of humour! Her afternoon tea with home-made cakes are a highlight. So are the wonderful breakfasts, to be enjoyed either on the deck or on the private balcony of the room. The lodge has a charming feel to it and overlooks a beautiful green "mini jungle". It's within walking distance of the beach and the town. It's also at the start of a beautiful two hour hike to Palm Beach, highly recommended!Guest review byLawrenceSwitzerland
- From US$118.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 313 reviewsThe location was perfect - close to the ferry and in Ostend which had everything we needed.. the hotel arranged a taxi to the Vinyard we had booked and we also visited the RSA over the road for drinks and food and everyone was so welcoming and friendly.. we would definately book those accomodation againGuest review bypaulineUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 240 reviewsThe owners are right in warning about the steep hill to get to the cottage, but you end up with the best view. Once at the top you have preferred use of a picnic table and a wooden bench. The unit was as described. Very comfortable and had all the amenities required. Loved our stay.Guest review byJacquesCanada

Waiheke is amazing there are lovely beaches to visit and great wineries and tours, every one we meet was super helpful. the bus service is great you can even visit wineries by getting a bus! Great destination all year around, excellent walking trails or place to explore by foot as well. Nice restaurants in Oneroa and takeaways.Guest review byBradAustralia - 8.0

Probably not a popular destination compared to others on the island, suited us though. Good range of shops. The Woolworths supermarket was a bonus as far as buying groceries for the motel room. The RSA is a friendly destination, and provided takeaway meals for the weary traveller to take back to their motel. Some nice fashion shops worth a look too. A minor hassle was the amount of road noise heard in the motel room (probably sounded louder with the motel being situated uphill a short distance from the road). Not a problem at night.Guest review byPatriciaNew Zealand - 10.0
Sensational location on the cliff.
Sensational location on the cliff. Everything very clean and all necessary things sufficiently available. The beds are good, very nicely furnished. Thanks to the host for the helpful tips. We were there at the beginning of April and it was not hot. In real summer it can heat up a lot as there are many windows. There is a mobile cooling unit in the living room (with a hose to the outside when the window is open. In the bedrooms only fan. We would stay there again outside the hot season.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

The villa had an amazing view but would suggest just booking a Waiheke Island Resort room direct, where you would pay less than half the nightly fee for similar villa and have FULL use of their facilities. These included a swimming pool, Spa pool and mini golf.Guest review byStephanieNew Zealand - 10.0

It’s a beautiful place, the views, pool, spa and bbq area are all stunning, such a lovely spot. It’s easy to get around Waiheke from here, by bus as well, we went to Ostend, Oneroa etc and had great food and walks. We enjoyed everything and it was very tidy and clean. The host Dan, was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed. Recommend!Guest review byLindaNew Zealand - 10.0

Very private location and the two Units are away from any other houses, etc. Very quiet and peaceful. Spotless too! Parking was 25 feet from the front door. Had a wonderful lunch at Mudbrick Winery and another at The Oyster Inn in Oneroa.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

Amazing and 2nights just enough. Covered it by renting a scooter with Island Scoot. Great way to explore. Great breakfast at Frenchies, lunch at Two Three Seven in Onetangi, fabulous wine and vineyard at MudbrickGuest review byPatriciaUnited States - 10.0

Close to regular buses going to Onetangi and other direction to Oneroa and ferry. Ostend has seating’up town’, shade under sail with tables and grass under foot, big interesting Saturday market, large RSA,Woolworths supermarket, clothing shop and interesting boutique style gift shop, several more and a petrol station and eating out places. It’s pleasant walking around paths off road, the odd local has put a seating bench outside front gate for the public- beautiful views of sea.Easy short walk to The Causeway and moored old quaint boats. Our family group came for family wedding, stayed at Waiheke Motel in four studios, Ostend.Awesome.Guest review byGabrielNew Zealand - 8.0

You get exactly what is shown and described. Wake up with a great ocean view, great deck to relax on, neat simple room and perfect for 2 people. Man o War, Charlie Farlie, 372, and Cable Bay were excellent , The bus was a bit confusing at first but we worked it out and it became simple.Guest review byCraigerNew Zealand
