We loved this old family house, which is now a nice small heritage hotel. Our en-suite room was big, nicely decorated, very clean, the bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly, and particularly Mr Rahman at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast was served down on the terrace of the Café, and was delicious, with a lovely view on the castle, which is right opposite. WiFi and AC were functioning well. Free car park is available in front of the hotel.

Was clean and spacious and it was a good location close to Al Huda Mosque and close to many shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were lovely and very polite and the prices were very affordable especially during khareef- mosoon season which is a very busy time and is peak season there. I highly recommend and especially for families.

    The Hilton hotel is very well located, only 15mn from the airport. It is extremely clean, has a beautuful swimming pool with a water slide and a long beach. It is not crowded at all and we enjoyed playing in the waves. The hotel room was impeccable, very quiet and the layout was perfect. My son and I had our own bed and we felt very confortable. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. One day we forgot to remove the " do not disturb" sign on the door , but later in the afternoon the cleaning service took the care to do our room without even asking. I thought this was high quality service. The staff is very attentive, smiley and friendly, always happy to help or assist. The buffet is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality of food is good with some variety. There is another restaurant à la carte on the opposite side but we did not try it as the buffet offered all we needed. The restaurant terrace is right on the pool which is really pleasant. The only downside are the big black birds which come very close to the tables and can be a bit annoying but the staff is very careful and pays attention to it. It shows the natural part of Oman ! I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay and will definitely go back there next time.

    The breakfast was very decent. They kept changing the menu every day so we didn't had to eat same stuff every day. We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. The location of the hotel is pretty amazing and gives easy access to the main highways, nearby attractions and a lot of eating options. The AC and heater was working perfect.     Very attentive and friendly staff, always there when you need something. Special offer for the breakfast, good price and value. Waiters always offered you extra food/drinks. Good location on a quiet beach, direct beach access, rooms where calm and spacious. Dinners where offered at the beach and the wifi worked well.     I stayed in this hotel and lost some clothes, especially in the town of Sut Jadid. We asked the management of the hotel, who is Egyptian, and they treated us very poorly. This hotel does not have management. We advise the owner of the hotel, and should Dhofar leave their country like these expatriate workers who are tarnishing the reputation of the hotel

    Amazing lagoon landscape, with direct beach access. Beach is amazingly white, clean and you can walk in quite far - depending on the waves, only. Exceptionally beautiful "holiday town" Hawana Salalah with many different lagoons, private villas, 3 large 5-star resorts, some shops, restaurants. Approx. 15km from Salalah town / airport. So, you should rent a car straight from the airport. Great excursions going up into the mountains ... sand dunes, waterfalls (depending on the season), Hiob's graveyard, Taqah castle + fortress etc. ... nice big shopping malls in Salalah
