- From US$104.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 597 reviewsObaid, the owner of the tent, is an excellent Omani guy who was willing to help us all the time. The check-in process was easy, and the tent and bathroom was clean. The food in the dinner was excellent. The night bonfire session was awesome, where Obaid shared the fascinating Bedouin tales. Breakfast was good too. Milking and feeding goat was a unique experience and that was made more valuable by the helpful staff there who taught us how to do that. We missed the sunset moment, as we were late to reach the camp. but the sun rise moment was awesome. The camp is right besides the dunes. We also booked the desert safari trip at additional cost, which is done by Abdullah - son of Obaid. He is skilled driver and the best part was that he taught us how to drive in the dunes in our car. This was like the unforgettable part for me as a driver in the sand dunes. Obaid sent us the location to the camp and direction map using maps.me. Google map doesn't provide the right drive location. Would recommend his advice to follow the route and you can reach there without any guide in your 4x4 vehicle.Guest review byAbdus Samad HussainOman
- From US$232.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 816 reviewsIt's a perfect place for someone like me who loves nature but equally loves comfort and is not ready to sleep in a real tent in the desert. The resort is not far from the town, which is great if you need a doctor, for example. If you don't have a 4-wheeler, you can pay for a pick up to be arranged from the nearest petrol station to the resort. We enjoyed our stay because the staff were outstanding, very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. The place is beautiful and quiet at night, so we appreciated the getaway from Muscat. The villa was clean and cozy, but some tiny things (lamp shade, showerhead) needed replacement.Guest review byMariaOman

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The desert is very beautiful here.
The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 6.0

The resort is nice, I think there is a huge investment in the resort , although I think it will be better to train the staff to be more professional to deal with guests and certainly the restaurant is not up to the expectations especially regarding the menu and the the food served maybe the investment should include a new restaurant much better than the current one.Guest review bySaleh AL KamliOman - 10.0
We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.Guest review byAnonymous
