We loved everything - the room was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean, breakfast was nice with a selection of Filipino and international options, the restaurant Brixie served tasty dishes throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and always willing to offer service with a smile. This place is a gem, far enough away from the chaos but still close enough to everything you need. The facility is great with free juice and coffee. Clean fresh pool and clean rooms. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I like how I was amazed by the aesthetics of the hotel. The overall quality service and how polite the staff are… they will bow down just to greet you which is quite a great feeling specially to my kababayans. The service, we arrived very late, security let me in. Power was out, the whole island was out. In the morning the owner offered to help find a hotel that had generator. The location was good for me, a little out of town but peaceful. I decided to stay and she provided free breakfast; then the power came back on.

Annabelle and her family were the absolute best! Their place is conveniently near the central square where you can have delicious Filipino breakfast and amazing grilled fish and meat for lunch or dinner. Wi-Fi was a concern but they were kind enough to place us in a room near the router as I had warned them ahead of time I’d be working while I was there. However, 4G is widely available throughout the island so just get a data plan if you don’t want to risk it! The room was spacious and very comfortable. I had the unfortunate accident of stepping on a sea urchin and they did everything they could to help me through it. JPH was by far the highlight of our strip in the Philippines. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!!

Hands down the best play to stay in Moalboal. Cozy spacious room with aircond, fan, tv with youtube/netflix. Surrounded by tall walls and a pool in the middle, that a great architectural concept and it feels secluded and luxurious throughout the stay.

    It's a wonderful hotel that you don't need to leave for your stay. It has everything. The staff are world-class and the food is first class. They surprised us when they found out it was our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine.

    I had lived in Moalboal before.

    I had lived in Moalboal before. I was just back visiting a girlfriend. The Panagsama area, where the resort is located is great. Literally walked the entire area. Lots of different restaurants/bars. Plenty of different operators for activities, mostly sea related. It is a great area. I plan to move back next year.

    Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00. We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.

    Beatiful, green island. Paradise for seafood fans. Fresh, delicious and decent price, sometimes even cheap. If you more into nature than towns and pubs do not miss: Mangrove Park, Nature Park, Lalio's cave, Colina Isla de Bantayan:) Santa Fe - more for food and drinks at night :)

    More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

    Review for Malapascua Island: Perfect for diving (thresher sharks) and snorkeling, otherwise not much to do there. Recommendation - compare prices for fun dives at different dive shops, some are very pricy. The north beach was a disapointment - some smaller sections of the beach are cleaned, others very dirty and smelling like rotten animals. Not much to see in the water while snorkeling there.
