SpainThe stay in this place was an incredible experience! I even can not imagine such high level of rest. Stuff was exceptionally friendly and supportive. They speak several languages and provided us all the information and help as we requested. Despite the fact the we came pretty late, kitchen was open and we had a dinner. Our room was great, spacious and clean. Everything there is done on a exceptional level, with focus on details. Big playground for kids, swimming pool, padel playgrounds. It is a calm place, well decorated and it provides high level of rest and enjoy. Breakfast was just amazing! The taste of food, fruits and drinks was delicious. This place just opened a year ago and with no doubts this is a great one that we would like to visit again and again.

There are 2 pools that even in Feb looked clean and very inviting. They upgraded us to an apartment room with separate living room and kitchen - lovely private terrace area with deck chairs. Public areas absolutely beautiful like sitting in your own home, gorgeous fireplace that we didnt light as it was only us but it felt like sitting in your own lounge room. We got an entire apartment in the main house (one of two apartments), and it was hands down the best apartment we’ve stayed in. It was huge (about 60sqm), nicely distributed, right above the pool and with breathtaking views. The location is unbeatable- 5km away from Vila Nova and so much calmer than the town. In the morning, you smell freshly baked bread and fried bacon by the lovely cook and see an elegant gardener watering the beautiful plants and flowers around - it feels like a true villa escape. Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. Amazing place lots of restaurants and bars but it is all spaced out if you have good legs this is no problem. Of course you can hire a car and drive out at night but if you want to drink you need to walk as we didn't see 1 taxi on our 9 night stay. Find accommodation near to Mareta beach as that's about central. Very young area lots of fit surfing people day and night which is great. There are 3 beaches within walking distance Tonel is the one for surfing if you can do!! Mareta beach is the nicest of the 3. There are many more you can drive to. The fort is interesting. A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.Guest review byTiagoPortugal - 10.0

Lovely hostess, fabulous location high up so we enjoyed the sunset. Apartment was very clean & well equipped, large, comfortable bed. Wifi very strong. Nice luxury whilst walking 12 days of the Fisherman's trail. Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach. The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. We spent the day driving down from Lisbon and so didn't spend any time in the town of Carrapateira itself. But the next morning, we really enjoyed the various hiking trails and scenic overview spots accessible from Carrapateira via the perimeter road (E. da Praia), which starts with great views of and trails to Praia da Bordeira and then winds along the coast's edge for about 10 km.
