The location was perfect for us.
The location was perfect for us. Breakfast was worth the price. Had a restaurant if you needed a hot meal on the premises. Close to an Aldi as well as a coin laundromat. Stayed one night to visit the Convent of Christ and Knights of Templar castle. It was a quaint and lovely town and a nice contrast after coming from Lisbon and a nice overnight stay on our way to Porto. The Convent and Castle were definitely worth seeing.Guest review byLouisUnited States - 10.0

The Centro historico was fun and exciting to explore. It is very compact with lots of churches. The Jardim do Sol were very pleasant. Very walkable place once you get to the top. Alcochete is a very quiet place, every points of interest are at walking distance. You would find Bank, gardens, restaurants and coffee shops every where and friendly staff always ready to attend your queries and guide you the best possible. Rio Maior os a hidden gem with with great restaurants that serves local food, a salt farm with lots of history and a cute tiny village around it that got turned into a tourist attraction. Great place to watch the sunset, have a drink and shop local/handmade stuff. Around Rio Maior there are plenty of places to visit, like mountain views, hiking trails and caves. Also very central... 39 minutes from Nazareth (where the giant waves are) and from Óbidos, a medieval city with a huge city wall, very well preserve.
